    Graduate Trainee – Environmental, Social and Governance

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES, MEASURES & INTERFACES

    • Research and Analysis: Assist in gathering and analysing ESG data, industry trends, and best practices to support the development of ESG strategies and reports.
    • Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of ESG reports, presentations, and other documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
    • Project Support: Support ongoing ESG projects by coordinating activities, tracking progress, and preparing project updates.
    • Data Management: Help maintain and organize ESG-related databases, ensuring data integrity and accessibility.
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Assist in communicating ESG initiatives and progress to internal and external stakeholders.
    • Event Coordination: Support the planning and execution of ESG-related events, workshops, and meetings.

    WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

    • Applicant should be unemployed South African citizens under the age of thirty-five (35) and have not benefited from any internship previously and preferably from the formerly disadvantaged groups

    • Diploma and degree in Environmental Science/Studies, Sustainability, or a related field. An Honours Degree and Master’s degree will be advantageous.

    Graduate Trainee- Graphic Design

    Key Measures

    • Assist PR and Communications Specialist with graphic design elements for internal and external newsletters, print publications, social media, event management and other duties required in this area.
    • Assist the Marketing & Branding Officer with graphic design elements on relevant industry trade events, marketing & branding initiatives, digital & programmatic marketing, as well as other duties in this area.
    • Assist with visual updates on the website and intranet.
    • Assist with other basic graphic design requirements across the ECIC.
    • Assist in designing of relevant branding material for ECIC events, as well as relevant projects.

    • Heads of business units and relevant professionals throughout the Corporation.

    • A three-year qualification in Graphic Design or related field. Excellent understanding of graphic design software application and practice.     • A keen eye for aesthetics and details
    • Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
    • Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
    • Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
    • Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software
    • Use the appropriate Corporate Identity (CI) colors and layouts for relevant graphics
    • Work with marketing & communications team to produce final design
    • Amend relevant designs where necessary
    • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
