    Recruitment Assistant

    Key Responsibilities:

    Interview Coordination:

    • Schedule interviews with candidates, hiring managers, and panel members.
    • Ensure interview venues, tools, and materials are properly prepared.
    • Communicate interview details and logistics clearly to all participants.

    Recruitment Administration:

    • Update and maintain the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate and up-to-date information.
    • Manage recruitment documentation, including applications, interview notes, and assessment results.
    • Assist with posting job advertisements and managing responses across multiple platforms.

    Process Support:

    • Track and provide updates on recruitment progress for various roles.
    • Support the preparation and maintenance of recruitment reports and metrics.
    • Assist with the continuous improvement of recruitment processes.

    Candidate Experience:

    • Ensure prompt and professional communication with candidates at all stages of the recruitment process.
    • Provide candidates with updates regarding the status of their applications.
    • Support efforts to create a positive and engaging recruitment experience.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Matric or equivalent qualification.
    • Prior experience in an administrative or recruitment support role will be an advantage.

    Programme Manager - iSchool Africa

    The key responsibilities include:

    • Maintaining and growing the current client/donor base through efficient relationship and project management.

    Responsible for overall project management of designated iSchoolAfrica programmes including:

    • Project financial management
    • Project reporting

    Cashbook Controller

    Description

    • Experienced Cashbook Controller required to join high volume, fast paced Finance Shared Services team. You will be responsible for cashbook and other settlement control functions within the Group. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in finance, ideally in a cashbook controller role.
    • Analyse and Reconcile bank statement
    • Analyse and Reconcile bank cashbook
    • Analyse and Reconcile cash suspense
    • Balance SL and GL, resolve any remaining reconciling variances
    • Finalise monthly consolidated bank reconciliation
    • Engage effectively with relevant stakeholders (Accountants, banks, sales teams, account payable, accounts receivable etc)

    Requirements

    Education and Experience requirements:

    • Matric
    • Relevant Tertiary qualification (BCom degree)
    • 3+ years experience in a cashbook role (we may consider credit controller or accounts payable experience if strong knowledge of day to day problem solving and reconciliations)

    Funded Channel Credit Controller

    The Role:

    Reporting and analysis

    • Age analysis are updated weekly and saved on the shared drive 
    • Risk items are proactively escalated within 5 working days of being identified 

    Allocations and journals review

    • Support workings, allocation of settlements on the debtors sub ledger and the processing of required GL journals need to be completed within the agreed month deadlines

    Management of credit risk on accounts

    • Escalations to the Compliance team should be done within the week of non settlement 
    • Establish an agreed timeline with compliance for each escalation

    Management of clearing accounts

    • Clearing accounts are managed and reconciled regularly and presented monthly 
    • Debit amounts on the clearing accounts are followed up weekly

    New projects/ad-hoc tasks

    • Accounts are managed, controlled and reconciled 
    • Prescribed credit analysis is well maintained, presented and accurate 
    • Able to assist FM competently with complex issues encountered

    Key Competencies:

    • Excel competency at an intermediate level (must be able to perform VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, SUMIFs etc.)
    • Knowledge and ability to Navigate ERP (Syspro, Oracle, SAP etc.) environment
    • Communication - written and verbal
    • Ability to independently identify issues and present creative solutions
    • Solid accounting principle foundation (i.e can articulate basic debits and credits)
    • Time management
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Dynamic outlook to the workplace 
    • Able and willing to adjust to ongoing changes within the workplace

    Requirements:

    • Grade 12 - Matriculation exemption 
    • Accounting/book-keeping diploma/degree/certification would be advantageous
