    Senior Engineer

    What you'll have done:

    Baseline:

    • NQF level 7 BSc (Mech) Engineering / B Tech
    • PR Registration with ECSA
    • 8 years of experience in an Engineering capacity

    What you'll doing:

    INFRASTRUCTURAL DESIGN

    • Scope of Works produced and signed off by the customer / business stakeholder,
    • Sign-off on designs to ensure systems operate as per design,
    • Improve infrastructure efficiencies,
    • Ensure designs aligned to relevant codes and best practices (SANS/API/Engineering Standards)

    PROJECT MANAGEMENT

    • MOC management,
    • Liaising with relevant Authorities (Local Council, Government)
    • Produce, communicate, and execute to project plans,
    • Manage the full Project Life Cycle as per the Engineering Project Management MS,
    • Manage multi-disciplinary engineering projects,
    • Finance Management, cost control of approved funds with no over expenditure,
    • Successful handover of Projects, QCP packs and "backup" support,
    • Design documented and requirements of customer/client fully met,
    • Contractor management, Liaising with professionals,
    • Project resources required to perform the works.

    RISK MANAGEMENT

    • Projects executed safely and in compliance with all Engen HSEQ requirements,
    • MOC, HAZOP Studies, Risk Assessments etc. compiled, approved, and documented,
    • Timeous closure of all Engineering Audits,
    • Plant 920G and Asset Integrity assessments and inspections performed, and recommendations closed out (Firefighting, API570 piping, bund integrity, structural, etc.)

    Senior Sales Manager

    What you’ll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • At least 5 years’ experience with all of these linked to Sales, Retail, Fuel, Sales or Marketing
    • NQF level 7 degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing/Sales/Finance related or equivalent 15 years’ experience in relevant fields

    Regional Sales Operations Manager-WC

    What you will have done before

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Marketing, Sales, Finance, Business or related)
    • 10 years' experience in Retail Sales & Marketing, including people management, franchise & FMCG.

    Advantageous:

    • Experience in managing a Sales team
    • Experience in managing a business department

    What will you be doing

    FINANCIAL PERFOMANCE

    • Drive regional profitability and sales through Retail initiatives with the sales team.
    • Manage sales forecasts to meet or exceed targets.
    • Turn around underperforming sites in your region.
    • Contribute to the National Sales Capex/Opex plan and develop the regional budget.
    • Ensure accurate budget indicators for tracking and controlling the regional budget.
    • Monitor and report on monthly Capex/Opex spend and budget variances.
    • Authorize expenditures within assigned limits.

    BUSINESS PROCESSES

    • Develop and implement regional and area-specific business plans with the team.
    • Monitor performance against targets; develop contingencies to meet operational goals (e.g., RSD, NPS, Planograms, ROI).
    • Ensure Retail Standards Compliance by managing audit findings and adherence to CPA regulations
    • Manage dealer selection in line with regional targets and review quarterly dashboard results.
    • Implement corrective action plans and ensure monthly call plans are in place.
    • Define call plan objectives and compile monthly reports.
    • Ensure strategy roll-out and identify sites for upgrade.

    CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT

    • Manage the relationship between Engen and dealers in your specific region through active participation in RAC and GAP meetings
    • Ensure Regional Sales and Operations alignment with customer and stakeholder policy procedure.
    • Engage internal customers and stakeholders on service delivery needs for your specific region and ensure that related SLAs are in place and adhered to.

    STAFF DEVELOPMENT AND MANAGEMENT

    • Ensure HR process compliance in the region
    • Engage in talent management by developing Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
    • Manage staff performance through contracts, reviews, and talent discussions.
    • Enhance team effectiveness through knowledge transfer and skill development.
    • Foster team building through coaching and mentoring.

    Senior Reconciliation Accountant

    What you'll have done before:

    Baseline:

    • NQF Level 6 (Diploma in Accounting)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience performing accounting reconciliations.
    • 1 year experience performing complex reconciliations.
    • SAP experience (FI module)

    Advantageous:

    • NQF level 7 - Degree in accounting
    • Previous experience with performing complex intercompany reconciliations and reviewing bank, vendor or GL recons

    What you'll be doing:

    • Intercompany and General Ledger Reconciliations
    • Reconciling assigned intercompany and general ledger accounts, following up on unreconciled items and ensuring that all reconciliations and journal corrections are approved to ensure effective business operations.

    Operations Activities

    • Perform month-end and year-end activities for accounts reconciliation by ensuring that the relevant activities and processes are followed, and deadlines are met in accordance to financial regulations.
    • Please note month-end and year-end overtime may be required.

    Query Handling

    • Manage new and ongoing queries through logging and resolving queries to ensure adherence to with agreed SLA.

    Reviewing bank reconciliations

    • Review the monthly bank age analysis and commentary, by providing a guidance and a plan of action to clear open items, ensuring that there are few or no long outstanding bank open items.

    Reviewing vendor reconciliations

    • Review assigned vendor reconciliations monthly for South Africa and the affiliates.

    Accounting activities

    • Ensure that all accounting journal entries are processed timeously and accurately.

    • Ensure that the month end and year end activities and processes are followed, and deadlines are met enabling a smooth period end close and audit process

    Accounting activities

    • Ensure that all accounting journal entries are processed timeously and accurately.
    • Ensure daily bank accounting activities are timeously captured, reconciled, and cleared.

    ACB Monitoring

    • Monitoring daily collections, ensuring all collections are actioned and follow up with stakeholder.

    Query logging and resolution

    • Ensure that all queries are logged and resolved within the set SLA.
