    Driver Salesman

    Job Description    

    • To ensure service delivery of bakery products to existing customers through on time and in full deliveries and bakery sales growth on route as per agreed targets in collaboration with the bakery sales team.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Bread sales (maintain current client base and upselling to existing and new products.
    • Truck housekeeping – ensuring trucks are always neat and clean.
    • Incident and accident reporting – ensuring all incidents and accidents are reported to management timeously.
    • POD control – all POD’s to be signed, stamped and accounted for
    • Fuel consumptions – meet targets as per company standard policy.
    • Stock control – monitor the offloading and loading of all stock from the truck and ensure 100% accuracy.
    • Crate control – monitor the offloading and loading of all Trays from the truck and ensure 100% accuracy.
    • Daily Vehicle Checklists – trucks to be checked daily, checklists completed, defects reported and signed and handed to the fleet controller/supervisor.
    • Document control – POD’s, fuel slips, toll slips, trip sheets, etc.
    • Management of crew on the truck.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Grade 12 – Essential.

    Experience Requirements    

    • Heavy vehicle (2.5-4 tonnes) driving experience (1-3 yrs.) - Essential.
    • Sales and or retail experience (1-3 yrs.) - Desirable.
    • Driver's License code 10/C1 with PDP - Essential.

    Job Description

    Role and Responsibilities:

    As a Packaging Technologist, you will:

    • Develop and implement packaging solutions in alignment with marketing strategies and feasibility studies.
    • Conduct trials, write trial reports, and provide coaching to packing line teams.
    • Build strong relationships with packaging suppliers nationally and internationally.
    • Ensure material and machine compatibility of packaging substrates for marketing projects.
    • Maintain an up-to-date colour standards library, specification templates, and knowledge repository.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation in the packaging field.
    • Ensure compliance with packaging regulations, standards, and sustainability practices.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • A degree or diploma in IPSA Packaging, Food Science, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering (Packaging development oriented), or related fields.

    Experience Requirements    

    • 5-7 years of experience in packaging development within the FMCG industry, working with both flexible and rigid materials.

    Skills and Competencies    

    • Knowledge of printing methods for packaging and design-to-print process management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, palletisation programs, project management, and report writing.
    • Knowledge and understanding of Packaging lines and ability to problem solve packaging related issues

    • Premier FMCG is seeking a meticulous and driven Wages Administrator to join our Durban Bakery team. This role is crucial in ensuring the accurate, compliant, and timely administration of payroll operations. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to improving payroll systems and providing expert support.

    Qualification Requirements    

    • Matric
    • Diploma or relevant qualification in Payroll Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field
    • Certified Payroll Professional (SAPA) – Desirable
    • Driver license
    • 3-5 years of experience in payroll administration
    • Proven experience with payroll systems
    • Familiarity with South African payroll legislation (1-2 years)

    Experience Requirements    

    • Process Payroll Accurately: Ensure all employee data is accurately captured, verify time and attendance system integration, check earnings and deductions, run payroll cycles on schedule, and audit payroll data regularly to correct discrepancies.
    • Maintain Compliance: Stay updated with Labour laws and income tax regulations, ensure accurate calculation of statutory deductions, and submit required reports to regulatory bodies on time.
    • Provide Payroll Support: Respond to inquiries regarding payroll promptly, communicate changes in payroll processes or policies clearly, and offer necessary education on payroll-related topics.
    • Maintain Records and Generate Reports: Document all payroll transactions, securely store records, generate accurate payroll reports for management and stakeholders, and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
    • Enhance Processes and Systems: Identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, assist in implementing new payroll processes or systems, and collaborate with the payroll team and other departments to improve efficiency.
    • Reconcile Third-Party Payments: Ensure timely and accurate payments to third parties by reconciling schedules with the general ledger and Nutun payment file.

    • Computer skills with a proficiency in MS Office
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
