    • Conduct research and gather data for the development and improvement of banknotes and coin.
    • Develop testing protocols for banknote- and coin-related projects.
    • Participate in product testing, including functionality, performance and durability, to ensure that products meet South African Reserve Bank specifications and quality standards.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    • Process notifications and applications of a financial and non-financial nature, and make recommendations in terms of the Insurance Act 18 of 2017 for approval or decline.
    • Provide input into and assist with the development and implementation of the regulatory framework.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    • Conduct foreign exchange trading operations, which include execution of FX transactions (spot, forwards and FX swaps).

    The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

    • Prioritise and escalate IT incidents, coordinate the incident response team and facilitate the implementation of workarounds.
