    HR Intern - (1138)

    Key Perforrmance Areas:

    • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team in terms of performance management, learning and development and general HR administration functions
    • Research and document people management best practices, both locally and internationally
    • Support the recruitment and selection process at head office and country programme level
    • Support the Employee Relations function at Head Office

    Systems Intern - (1134)

    Key Performance Areas

    • Assist in the implementation, setup, configuration, and maintenance systems
    • Support the team in daily system administration tasks such as user account management
    • Help monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in real-time.
    • Collaborate with the team to ensure system security protocols are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
    • Assist in documenting Systems procedures configurations.
    • Participate in projects related to system upgrades optimization.
    • Provide technical support to internal staff, responding to tickets and inquiries.

    Job Requirements

    Qualification and Experience

    • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Business Systems, Accounting, or a related field.
    • Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS).
    • Knowledge in ERP  systems advantageous
    • Basic understanding of Accounting/Finance/ processes
    • Excellent Communication Skills and  proficient in the English language
    • Valid Passport holder or in a position obtain one
    • Willing to travel across SA borders

    Country Management Unit (CMU) Intern - (1136)

    Key Performance Areas:

    CMU Administration

    • Support CMU Officer in the administration of key monthly meetings, including the cross-functional Resource Review and Workplan Review; will include note taking, note dissemination, scheduling
    • Support CMU in record keeping and monitoring; including the management of list of Security Focal Persons and Authorized Drivers, etc., and ensuring that documents like the Country Office Security Plans are up to date
    • Assist CMU Officer to keep up to date the m2m Country Snapshot
    • Support CMU and cross-functional processes including tracking recruitment progress in conjunction with HR 

    Programme Management

    • Support the development and review of project workplans 
    • Support Senior Programme Manager and Programme Manager in monitoring of workplans and monthly review with country offices
    • Support all follow-up items stemming from Workplan Review Meetings
    • As requested, join the Joint Country Support Calls to monitor progress of target achievement at country-level

    Deliverable Management

    • Monitor the m2m Milestone Tracker to ensure teams are aware of upcoming deliverables
    •  Assist the CMU Officer to manage the reporting/deliverable development process; including sending out timelines and reminders
    • Support the finalization of m2m deliverables; including copy editing and following-up with country teams to address all comments and make ready for donor submission

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Diploma or Degree, with a postgraduate qualification or Master's being advantageous in Health or Social Sciences

    Grants & Compliance Intern - (1137)

    Responsibilities

    • Draft, review, negotiate and facilitate signature of commercial agreements (excl. lease agreements)
    • Manage the m2m consultancy process
    • Manage the compliance of deliverable submissions and project director reports
    • Maintain lease trackers
    • Undertake procurement, including sourcing quotes from vendors and creating purchase requisitions
    • Preparations for board meetings, including preparation of agendas, board materials and
    • Management of Directors & Officers insurance
    • Coordinate and assist with ad hoc projects as requested

    Deliverables

    • Monthly milestone reports
    • Quarterly milestone & project director reports
    • Timeous review and processing of consultant & commercial agreements
    • Update and disseminate lease tracker quarterly
    • Other deliverables as assigned

    • Proficient in English;

    Business Development Intern - (1139)

    Key Performance Areas:

    • Prepare and process administrative documents that support the proposal development process, such as consultant agreements and purchase requisitions
    • Support proposal teams in proposal preparation by conducting desk research, landscape analysis, due diligence on potential funders and partners; helping to complete forms to support the go/no go process; schedule meetings
    • Support updating of online systems, such as Salesforce and SharePoint
    • Take notes at weekly and key meetings and distribute to m2m teams, as requested
    • Participate in webinars and share key learnings with the Business Development team.
    • Review websites for potential funding opportunities  
    • Support capture process through research on potential funders, similar projects, competitors and consortium partners
