    Goods Receiving Clerk

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • GRVíng all stock and invoicing correctly and according to the SOP’s, while maintaining efficiencies, quality and cost control.
    • Act as a conduit for all stock and non-stock items sent back to the supplier, ensuring It is done in-line with Stores KPI’S and Astral procedures.
    • Ensure relevant paperwork is sent to creditors and all stock-related queries are sorted timeously to ensure we stay in line with payment schedules.
    • Ensure that all stock/non-stock items received is done in-line with Stores KPI’S and Astral procedures.
    • Complete weekly and monthly report for GRVs.
    • Implementing of 20 Keys/ HACCP / Risk Control and apply general housekeeping rules.
    • Maintaining a high level of housekeeping.

    The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

    • Grade 12
    • At least 3 years’ experience in a store’s environment.
    • Computer literate.
    • Be multilingual and have excellent interpersonal skills.
    • Effective time management.
    • Must be able to work overtime and weekends as required

    Department Head (Sterilisation Plant)

    Purpose 

    • The purpose of the Department Head (Sterilisation Plant) is to run the production and the maintenance whilst on shift. To ensure that production targets are met and attend to unscheduled processing interruptions resulting from breakdowns. Do routine maintenance on processing equipment, assist with new installation of rendering equipment. 

    Required Qualification

    • Must be a qualified Artisan

    Required Experience

    • Proven experience in a Supervisory role
    • Previous experience in electrical/repair of poultry processing and rendering plant equipment will be advantageous
    • Computer literacy - MS Office

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Routine maintenance on Rendering plant equipment
    • Deal with unscheduled processing interruptions due to breakdowns
    • Full control of production processes and responsible for maintaining production standards
    • Responsible for all labour-related issues, including ensuring that all positions are managed at all times
    • Dealing with all disciplinary matters appropriately and according to the company’s disciplinary code
    • Continued interaction and communication with senior management
    • Maintaining and implementing the 20 Keys principles, including Health & Safety of the department.

    Other Requirements:

    Millwright

    Qualifications:

    • Millwright Trade Certificate (Section 13 and served apprenticeship)
    • Minimum N4 qualification in the relevant field
    • Wiremen’s license will be advantageous
    • PLC and VSDs certificate and experience will be advantageous

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in a FMCG environment

    The ideal candidates must be young, energetic, qualified N3 students with a passion to become an artisan.

    The key performance areas of this Apprenticeship position are:

    Maintenance Engineer

      The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Continuous optimization and analyses of the Processing plant preventative maintenance
    • Assisting with preventative scheduling, task lists, reports and analyses to optimize plant

    Hatchery Maintenance Manager

    • Manage and control the maintenance processes involved in the Hatchery on an Operational level.

    Electrical Engineer

    The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

    • Management of the site’s electrical reticulation and automation of the plant.
    • Ensuring that installation and operations conform to the electrical standard.
    • Maintaining electrical equipment and mentoring Artisans and Foremen.
    • Identify training requirements and provide technical training for operations, engineering, and maintenance staff in the use of new and existing automation systems.
    • Provide technical support for new and existing automation systems associated with the site projects.

    Rendering Plant Supervisor

    Processing Administrator

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    • Matric or relevant qualification.
    • Strong administrative experience/qualification will be an added advantage.
    • Must have at least 3-5 years administrative experience, preferably in an FMCG environment.
    • Working knowledge of an LN system.

    COMPUTER LITERACY USING THE FOLLOWING PACKAGES

    • Microsoft Office Suite including working knowledge of Excel Intermediate/advanced level.

    SKILLS REQUIRED

    THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

    • Making and taking telephone calls obo the Processing Manager (POM).
    • Responsible for internal and external hand mail.
    • Scheduling appointments obo Processing Manager when requested.
    • Ordering of stationery, printed books, equipment & PPE (delivery note, stores requisition, request for credit etc.) on the LN system, for Epping and maintaining it.
    • Reporting any faults/repairs of telephone & equipment by logging a call to IT.
    • General typing of memo’s letter obo the Processing Manager (e.g. Extra shifts & overtime).
    • Responsible for distributing all internal adverts and ensuring they are placed on the notice boards.
    • Received ordered stock and invoice from the suppliers and send to the Buyer.
    • Attend to wages queries & time and attendance validation.
    • Draft ATR’s for vacant positions.
    • Preparation of payslips, incl. AdcorpBlu
    • Update production organogram.

    Daily Task

    • Issuing stationary to the staff on a daily basis.
    • Raising daily PR’s received from Management on the LN system.
    • Preparation of daily requisitions, compiling, processing and all documentation for production.
    • Loading staff’s Leave application onto ZETA and sending the approval email to wages to attach to the respective employee’s time sheets.
    • Job Cards are captured onto the Excel spreadsheet and filed accordingly (where applicable).
    • 20 Keys capturing and reporting on a daily basis.
    • Assisting with general administration in processing.

    Monthly Task

    • Raising of all monthly PR’s onto the LN system i.e. contractors, AdcorpBlu, RAF forklift, Ecowise etc. for Epping in the first week of the new month.
    • Reliever for the Production Coordinator.

    Other features of the job

    • Due to the nature of the job, extra hours will be required from time to time, which may necessitate working into the evening, public holidays or on weekends. The incumbent may also be required to travel from time to time. Perform other reasonable duties outside the scope of this job description as might be requested by senior management.
