Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage change management workstreams across a variety of client projects (ERP, digital, OD, culture, strategic change)
• Develop and implement fit-for-purpose change strategies and plans
• Conduct impact assessments, stakeholder mapping & readiness evaluations
• Design and deliver stakeholder engagement & communication plans
• Facilitate training, workshops & change capability building
• Partner with leadership to embed change and drive adoption
• Monitor milestones, report on progress & manage resistance
• Support broader organisational development efforts when required

Experience

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Change Management or Organisational Development
• Proven success in complex environments, ideally within financial services
• Strong grasp of frameworks like ADKAR (Prosci), Kotter, or Lean Change
• Excellent communication, facilitation & stakeholder engagement skills
• ERP or digital project experience
• Prior consulting or contract-based experience a plus

Education

• Matric
• Prosci, CCMP, or similar Change Management certification preferred
• University Qualification, Certificate or Diploma, aligned to relevant experience Relevant Bachelors’ Degree / Diploma / recognised qualification from an accredited tertiary institution.

Role Summary

• We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Senior Consultant to apply deep technical expertise and deliver solutions that meet complex business needs. This role requires strong SAP BW4HANA development skills, systems analysis, and solution design, working under minimal direction to ensure operational excellence and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include:

SAP Development & Solution Design

• Lead SAP BW4HANA development in alignment with SAP’s recommended Layered Scalable Architecture.
• Redesign and optimize ABAP-scripted developments.
• Extract data from SAP and non-SAP systems, perform data modeling, and deliver reports/dashboards.
• Architect, design, and develop SAP BW4HANA solutions in collaboration with project leaders, business teams, and SAP functional counterparts.
• Build and maintain complex process chains.
• Provide input and oversight into testing and implementation of SAP programs.

Technical Expertise & Collaboration

• Hands-on experience in SAP Business Warehouse, including extraction, modeling, and query design.
• Work with BW extractors, Master Data, DSOs, Cubes, Composite Providers, and Open Hub Extracts.
• Apply full life cycle development experience from design through implementation and production support.
• Act as a technical integration specialist across SAP disciplines.
• Consult on SAP landscape according to agreed standards and stay current on SAP technologies.
• Coach and mentor other resources in technical preparation, process procedures, test scenarios, and end-user documentation

Performance & Risk Management

• Monitor and support process chains and loads.
• Investigate and propose enhancements for improved performance.
• Highlight potential project or solution risks and issues to project management.
• Identify and mitigate risks while driving problem resolution.
• Contribute to quality and financial goals by operating within agreed budgets and service level agreements.

Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement

• Share knowledge and maintain team documentation.
• Provide input to highlight interdependencies between projects and support.
• Add value by recommending opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and policies.
• Continually develop core skills, cross-functional expertise, and business knowledge.

Key Requirements

• Minimum Experience: 10 years of BW experience plus SAP functional experience.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver SAP BW4HANA solutions across the full development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in BW extractors, modeling, query design, and process chain management.
• Strong technical integration skills across SAP disciplines.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Essential: Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Preferred: BCom/IS/IT ENG/BSc/computer science-related degree.
• Certifications: SAP certification in BW preferred; certification in more than one SAP module advantageous.
