What we’re looking for

• An undergraduate with a BSc / Informatics  
• Must be a South African citizen
• Programming and databases at major level
• Stable and strong internet connection for when we work remotely
• Minimum pass rate of 65% on engineering subjects
• No work experience required
• Willingness to learn and apply your knowledge
• Previous knowledge, interest and exposure to Cloud testing environments a plus
• Knowledge of C# / Java / Javascript / Python / SQL

Responsibilities

• Daily generation of new business by selling display advertisements for the direct retail sales division.
• Generate new digital revenue, sales on Social Media and online platforms.
• Ensure that targets are reached and exceeded on a monthly basis.
• Stimulate the market by providing the client with innovative ideas and advertising platforms in line with the client's advertising objectives.
• Identify and capitalise on opportunities to generate additional income.

Requirements

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Sales/marketing degree or diploma would be an advantage
• Minimum of one year's sales experience
• Personal computer skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Effective communication skills – verbal and written in English and Afrikaans
• Strong presentation skills
• Valid driver's license and own reliable transport essential
• A positive disposition and thriving under pressure in an extremely competitive environment
• Ability to initiate and close deals
• Team player
