    Senior Credit Controller

    Role Purpose

    • The purpose of the role is to manage the Corporate Vodacom Business credit collection portfolio and ensure that the accounts are paid when due.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • To allocate cash payments timeously of customer accounts 
    • To minimise bad debt 
    • To follow up on non-payments

    Programme Manager

    Role Purpose

    The Programme Manager - EE role is based within VSA.

    To ensure the management of key programmes; strategically and operationally within the Vodacom International Business. To provide strategic support to the Chief Officer Enterprise and execute on digital transformation projects, operational/customer facing projects, change and communication.
     

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Digital Transformation across Vodacom Business

    • Ensures the readiness, adoption and embedding of a digital change within the areas of impact 
    • Define and re-assess the dimensions to track the Digital Transformation value creation in conjunction within Group and key business stakeholders. 
    • Share digital transformation progress with main stakeholders highlighting opportunities and risks.
    • Supporting the Change from a Telco to TechCo i.e. digital change management

    Deliver on defined agile programme management principles

    • Manage the Vodacom Business programme as a consolidation of multiple projects expanding across international markets.
    • Manage both local and Group led projects within the Vodacom’ LoB (Lines of Business)

    • Set and facilitate the VB strategy review sessions both at the centre and regionally with the Chief Officer of International Business

    • Benchmark performance against competitors, market trends and make recommendations.

     
    Manage people to deliver change and execute on effective communication

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Experience in business and solution development, project/program management, and project delivery in a technology space.
    • Experience developing complex, multi-year project plans to meet business objectives within budget

    • Good understanding of the project management and testing life cycle – proficiency in project management software
    • Ability to present and interact effectively with various levels within the organization

    Business Development Manager IOT

    Role Purpose

    The Business Development Manager role is based within Vodacom Business.

    • To develop and execute the IOT sales strategy for the South African market.
    • To manage the IOT pipeline as allocated  (build the pipeline, manage the pipeline, close the pipeline, report the pipeline).
    • Provide thought leadership to engage new clients and exceed expectations based on constructing and delivering a winning proposition and customer business cases for enterprise business customers.
       

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Responsible for direct and indirect IOT sales plan and its delivery against targets, in allocated opportunities.
    • Identify and acquire IOT enterprise and customers by selling IOT solutions 
    • Professionally present Vodafone/Vodacom IOT solutions, negotiate and contract IOT deals
    • Input into annual business planning and monthly/quarterly reviews
    • Align with Regional, Global and National Account Managers in the region to develop, drive and execute IOT sales into accounts managed in the region
    • Develop a business development strategy for IOT in  the allocated industry vertical
    • Working with relationship owners to provide consultative client engagement and thought leadership in defining and driving sales activity for demand generation and winning propositions.

    The ideal candidate for this role will have:

    • Extensive history of successful sales in the ICT B2B industry (> 5 years)
    • Needs to have good strategic skills & tactical execution skills, since structuring and establishing the local regional market is a large part of the role
    • Understanding of the IOT value chain, IOT impact on business models & where IOT can be used as a transformational tool in verticals
    • Ability to engage at CXX level
    • Be able to translate ICT principles, references and jargon to customer business value.
    • Deep understanding of the allocated industry vertical(s) business drivers and challenges, and the industry value chains. 

    Must have technical / professional qualifications: 

    • Essential B degree and 5 - 8  years ICT experience
    • Excellent English language skills (verbal and written)
    • Extensive history of successful Business-to-Business Sales in large, complex sales environment e.g. IOT / B2B telecoms/IT

    Project Leader

    Role Purpose

    To lead Radio Access Network (RAN) projects related to the successful implementation of radio quality, capacity, coverage, new technologies and modernisation. The candidate will manage the projects throughout the lifecycle of the project and report to the programme manager on the progress as and when required.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Senior Specialist Automation

    Role Purpose

    The Senior Specialist Automation role is based within Commercial Operations.

    The Digital Tribe team is responsible for designing and deploying digitised and automated business processes and across all of Vodacom Customer Operations channels. This is part of the Robotics Process Automation and Internal Chatbot squad. The purpose of the role is to ensure that through automation, Vodacom delivers an unmatched customer experience, reduces cost to service, reduces churn and drives revenue across multiple lines of business. This role requires experience with automation tools and methodologies, working in an agile, collaborative team, and working with other Vodafone operating companies to align, comply and implemented automation. The role is core to delivering exceptional customer experience across our lines of business and will have a direct influence on the headline Key Performance Indicators and efficiency metrics.

    The Software Engineer is responsible for creating prototypes, designing, and building modules and solutions in an iterative agile cycle, develop, maintain, and optimize the business outcome.  This role is responsible for estimating user and technical stories, designing, and developing code, writing, and executing unit and integration tests, and supporting testing of deliverables against user and technical story acceptance tests.  The incumbent is responsible for performing peer reviews, collaborating with architects and other developers to produce “just enough” design, and ensuring that enough technical documentation and training is provided for reference and operational support.  This role is responsible for providing software-related operations support, including managing level two and level three incident and problem management.
     

    Your responsibilities will include:

    Account Manager - IoT Connectivity

    Role Purpose

    The Account Manager - IoT Connectivity role is based within Vodacom Business.

    The Account Manager will secure new connectivity business from both new and any allocated customer lists. The Account Manager will need to successfully manage their allocated base whilst selling additional products and services into these customers and servicing potential new customers.  The Account Manager will be required to minimise churn and maximise connections and revenues with revenue & connections growth being key performance indicators. The objective is to increase the IoT connectivity business base whilst growing new business.
