    Diesel Technician

    What you will do

    • The main purpose of the job is to produce the required labor hours through maintenance and repair work, in accordance with the Company quality and efficiency standards.
    • Reporting: This position reports to the Team Leader.

    Job Objectives:

    • Fault-finding and diagnosis on Volvo Products by interpreting product “under performance” and/or failure.
    • Interpret and implement information in Volvo Manual and Service Literature.
    • By following directives provided in Workshop Manuals, produce work of Volvo acceptable standards.
    • Follow repair, maintenance instructions and specifications as per the manual.
    • Ensure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures/processes.
    • Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component/part, failures, observations, actions and recommendations.
    • Follow procedures for breakdown work:
    • Liaise with driver before responding to customer breakdowns;
    • Ensure the correct documentation is in place and accurately completed before submission.
    • Compliance to ISO 9001 and other Safety standards.

    Qualification & Job Experience

    • Matric/N3.
    • Trade Test Certificate - Qualified Diesel Mechanic.

    • Knowledge/skills to effect correct repair work.
    • Ability to interpret technical manuals and specifications and put into practice.

    Sales Executive

    Job Purpose

    • The Used Trucks Sales Executive is responsible for driving retail sales of pre-owned commercial vehicles, with a strong emphasis on developing new customer bases and exploring international/export opportunities. This role is exclusively focused on end-user (retail) transactions and strictly excludes dealer-to-dealer sales. The incumbent will manage the full sales cycle—from generating leads and handling inquiries to securing payments and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. The focus is on Target Pricing.

    Job Objective:

    Sales & Customer Acquisition

    • Drive retail sales of used trucks by identifying and converting new business opportunities.
    • Proactively develop a new customer base according to defined regions.
    • Identify and capitalize on export market opportunities in defined regions.
    • Promote internal products (Financial Products and Service Contracts) and increase penetration.
    • Have Product knowledge and specifications understanding to identify specific customer needs.
    • Provide superior customer service and brand loyalty.
    • Have multiple brand knowledge.
    • Customer Relationship Management.
    • Build and maintain long-term relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
    • Guide customers through the purchase journey, which may include vehicle selection, inspection, test drives, and finance options.

    Sales Administration & Delivery

    • Ensure all sales documentation is accurate, complete, and aligned with compliance protocols.
    • Facilitate vehicle deliveries, including coordination with logistics, handovers, and post-sale support.
    • Secure full and timely payments from customers before delivery.
    • Conduct KYC, credit, and compliance assessments for all new customers under company policy.
    • Collaborate with internal departments (finance, workshop, compliance, logistics) to ensure smooth transaction flow.
    • Generate weekly/monthly reports on pipeline, performance, and customer feedback.

    Key Exclusions:

    • No dealer-to-dealer sales. This role is exclusively focused on end-user/retail and export customers.
    • Not office bound – Customer and hunting for more business – Extensive Travel requirement.

    Qualification & Job Experience:

    • Formal qualification in Sales and Marketing (essential).
    • Technical diploma (desirable).
    • 5 - 8 Years sales experience, preferably commercial truck sales.
    • Maximum experience in vehicle/Used truck sales.
    • Knowledge of local and international compliance requirements.
    • Code EC (14).
    • Experience with CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
    • Additional languages an advantage.

    Key Competencies

    • Proven experience in used vehicle or truck sales, must be in a retail-focused environment.
    • Ability to negotiate effectively and close deals confidently.
    • Customer-centric with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-through.

    Working Conditions

    • Regular field travel for customer visits. Not office-bound.

    Client Service Representative

    What you will do

    • The main purpose of the role is to offer a diverse and varied work area in Wholesale and Retail Business within the Operations, Contract Activation, and Administration sectors. 
    • It requires a high degree of teamwork as well as individual responsibility in managing a portfolio of dealers and customers. This includes requests on settlements, release of security, cross border approvals, amortization schedules, Insurance on assets checks and confirmation and any other customer requests.
    • Reporting: This position reports to Team Leader Operations.

    Job Objectives: 

    • To be responsible for coordinating / managing documents for contract activation.
    • To support with settlement of new business in the financing and insurance sector as well as release of security, cross border approvals, amortization schedules,
    • Insurance on assets checks and confirmation and any other customer requests.
    • To manage and support with existing contracts during and at the end of their terms for VFS Southern Africa.
    • To ensure interdepartmental collaboration with Sales, Credit, Finance & Accounting, collections, anti-money laundering/AML, remarketing, legal and IT.
    • To be the contact person for customer and dealer inquiries as well as the development and support of corresponding solutions or forwarding to the responsible parties.
    • To support with Dealer Purchase Financing (wholesale) including accounts receivable purchase (Factoring), review pf payments, monitoring of floorplan documents and audit, credit line monitoring, continues improvement, planning and monitoring of floor checks, maintain master data and create and update the dealer financing plan.
    • To support and manage with all relevant tasks in the contract processing.

    Who are you?

    • Diploma/Certificate in Commercial Training.
    • Basic knowlede of leasing and financing.
    • 2 to 4 years experience in Commercial Finance.
    • Fully Profcient in Microsoft 365.
    • Good experience in contract and document management system.
