    Position Overview

    Amazon's Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) is a service for self-publishing books to the Amazon Kindle store. The KDP Support Specialist will be the front line interface between Amazon and publishers/content providers who use the KDP tool to upload content they want to put up for sale on the Kindle store. The KDP Support Specialist will work towards ensuring all the concerns from the publishers are duly attended to such that the system works smoothly.     Responsibilities

    • In Office: Employees will be office based for the majority of their time. Employees on an in-office work pattern will be assigned a desk in an Amazon building. Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to (Cape Town/Johannesburg).
    • Hybrid: Employees will be required to reside within a commutable distance of the office they are assigned to (Cape Town/Johannesburg), but have the flexibility to regularly work from home as well as from the office. In this Cape Town-based role, you will support multiple creative executives on a range of projects, provide a second set of eyes on scripts, sourcing global talent options, syncing productions, finding writers and editors to consult, and evaluating pitches. The role will also provide lots of coverage and feedback to creatives.
