    Operational Excellence Manager

    Responsibilities:

    • Identifying and delivering strategic operations improvement projects
    • Managing a portfolio of continuous improvement projects in operations, delivering significant financial savings
    • Establishing a management system and culture to drive continuous improvement and best practice across operations
    • Directing and supporting the efforts of industrial engineers in the respective factories
    • Providing on-going visibility of financial savings and performance improvements in operations to the regional Exco
    • Customer satisfaction: Continuous improvement projects implemented with the customer in mind
    • Visibility of operational performance: Performance is visible, up to date and reported appropriately
    • Project outcomes: Identification and execution of improvement projects on time and to business case objectives 
    • Regional Operational Excellence score: Meaningful YoY improvement required
    • Financial impact: Delivery of significant savings in operational cost (Material, Labour, Distribution and production overheads)

    Required Qualifications & Experience:

    • Minimum: B. Sc / B. Eng. in Engineering
    • Preferred: Lean Six Sigma certification / accreditation
    • Min 5 years’ experience in continuous improvement role
    • Project Management
    • Manufacturing financials (projects, products, processes and operating budgets)
    • Process optimisation and efficiency improvements
    • New product implementation and product improvements
    • Equipment and plant design and upgrade projects
    • Lean manufacturing deployment
    • Robotics and automation

    Preferred:

    • Electronics manufacturing industry
    • Mechanical product manufacturing industry

    Retail Merchandiser

    Purpose of the role:

    Represent our company’s products and services, through a comprehensive understanding to identify how our solutions meet needs.
    Ensure that all stock held by the business is correctly and neatly located, binned and displayed at all times and that all racks, bays, gondolas and such holding, or display systems are maintained in a good and clean state at all times.

    Responsibilities:

    • Maintain existing client base, whilst growing sales and relationships with these clients.
    • Follow a call cycle structure, sticking to routes with clear communication between sales rep and merchandiser.
    • Represent our company's products, starting with a deep and comprehensive understanding and following with consumer research to identify how best to target consumers.
    • Correct implementation of product stands, store point of sale, labelling, pricing.
    • Generate leads and build relationships planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets.
    • Ensure correct forward share, shelf positioning and product flow on shelf.
    • Managing inventory correctly.
    • Manage returns.
    • Adhering to any administrative tasks designated.

    Professional Qualifications & Experience:

    • Qualification: Matric
    • Working vehicle in good condition
    • Valid Driver’s license
    • Computer literacy (outlook and excel)
    • Good knowledge of the geographical area
    • Good knowledge of retail security industry

    Experience:

    • 2 Years solid sales experience in a merchandising role.
