    Assistant Sales Manager

    Main Job Tasks and Key responsibilities

    • Keeping track of the daily activities and performance of the sales team
    • Motivating, coaching and leading the sales team to achieve sales targets and other KPI’S
    • Ensure sales team have the necessary resources to perform their daily duties
    • Evaluate performance of individuals in the team and create/follow up on PRP for individuals in the team.
    • Setting sales targets and key performance indicators of the individuals in the team.
    • Take disciplinary actions for his/her team members where necessary
    • Monitoring, maintaining and reporting on all specified KPI’s for individuals within the team and corrective action for any potential individuals who are not on track or behind their required benchmarks and targets
    • Compile weekly reports on the team’s performance and corrective action if needed
    • Set schedule for overtime for the team(public holidays , lunch breaks and Saturdays)
    • Understand and drive company values, vision and culture in his/her team or business overall.
    • Lead employees and providing additional training and coaching as needed to ensure everyone is performing their job properly
    • Acting as a role model for all employees by continuously exhibiting a high level of service and attention to detail in all tasks
    • Assisting the manager with day-to-day responsibilities, overseeing staff, and providing stable leadership to the department
    • Recruiting and interviewing new hires
    • Respond to and resolve customer complaints and comments as needed

    Requirements

    • Must be able to adapt to change quickly
    • Must be able to coach and be able to influence individuals.
    • Must be passionate, disciplined, Persistent, Accountable and be able work well with others.
    • Leadership skills  
    • Computer literacy (Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
    • Insurance/Broker/Sales/Underwriting background.
    • Minimum of 12 months’ work experience in sales.
    • Management Skills; Leadership; Motivational Skills; Strong Communication Skills; Multitasking; Customer

    Qualifications:

    • Business Administration or relevant field would be an advantage
    • RE Compliant

    Underwriting Consultant

    OUTPUT/CORE TASKS:

    • Meticulously assess the risk factors of potential clients and establish coverage terms.
    • Implement guidelines that ensure a balanced ratio of favourable risks, minimizing claim costs, and enabling the company to provide insurance at a competitive price.
    • Comprehensive understanding of risk analysis, the ability to analyse data, and make informed decisions.
    • Examine insurance proposals, ensure compliance and adherence.
    • Ability to negotiate terms with clients and insurers.
    • Draw up a quote for competitive insurance premiums.
    • Achieve performance targets.
    • Follow applicable insurance laws.
    • Ability to provide feedback to manager in the form of reports.

    KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATION:

    • Matric
    • Intermediate level knowlwdge of MS suite
    • Must be proficient with the keyboard and IT applications

    Team Leader: Dealer Sales

    Description

    • Support, guide, and lead the sales team.
    • Training new members of the sales team
    • Define sales objectives and goals and develop sales strategies and tactics
    • Manage and motivate a team of sales representatives to increase company revenue and achieve sales targets
    • Monitoring sales performance, evaluate sales team performance and addressing issues when necessary
    • Completing sales reports and other administrative work
    • Addressing customer/partners service issues that need to be escalated
    • Selling products or helping sales staff negotiate and close deals
    • Train and coach sales team members and provide support and corrective measures
    • Foster teamwork, collaboration, communication, and customer satisfaction and loyalty

    Sales Representative

     Key Responsibilities:

    Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with dealership staff, management, and key stakeholders to promote trust and mutual business growth. 

    Sales Execution:

    • Promote and sell insurance products (including motor, short-term, and value-added services) through dealership channels, achieving monthly and quarterly targets.

    Client Visits & Field Work:

    • Conduct regular on-site visits to assigned dealerships to provide training, sales support, product updates, and performance reviews.

    Training & Support:

    • Conduct onboarding and refresher training sessions for dealer staff on insurance products, compliance processes, and quoting systems.

    Lead Generation & Conversion:

    • Work closely with dealer teams to generate qualified insurance leads and convert them into policies through follow-ups and client engagement.

    Reporting & Insights:

    • Track and report on sales activities, dealer performance, and market trends. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of sales strategies and product offerings

    Compliance & Quality Assurance:

    • Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in line with regulatory requirements, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) principles, and company standards.

    Requirements

    Education:

    • Matric (required)
    • Relevant diploma or degree in Sales, Marketing, or Insurance (preferred) Regulatory Exam (RE5) and FAIS credits (beneficial)

    Experience:

    • 2–5 years' experience in insurance sales or a similar role Experience working with motor dealerships or in the automotive finance/insurance space is a strong advantage

    Trainee People Specialist (HR)

    Qualifications and requirements:

    • Minimum of Matric
    • Human Resources- relevant HR Diploma/BCom degree is mandatory
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an HR environment
    • Good communication skills
    • In line with the company Employment Equity Plan, preference will be given to EE candidates.
