    UV Assistant - Cape Town

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Responsible to ensure that the correct material is readily available for each job
    • Manage and ensure the availability of correct consumables
    • Replenishing of machine solvents
    • Assist with running of the UV machinery
    • Assist on the Reelstand and Stacker as per operational requirements
    • Housekeeping and ensuring compliance with health and safety

    Educational Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.

    Experience Requirements

    • 1-2 years’ experience in a FMCG environment.
    • Previous experience in a similar role will be advantageous.
    • Experience in handling and preparing reels of paper would be advantageous.

    HR/Payroll Administrator - ITB - Isithebe

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage all processing for weekly and monthly payrolls.
    • Capturing of all new employees into VIP system and to process terminations.
    • Maintaining of employee information on the payroll system.
    • Generate reports for the Finance and the HR departments.
    • Adhere to the Internal Controls and procedures of the payroll function.
    • Create Accruals reports and batches with a costing report for the Cost Accountant.
    • Update month end reports for accounts and other entities such as Provident Fund Schedules, MIBFA, Medical Aid, Union, and Statutory Council.
    • Submit UIF declaration reports to Declaration’s office.
    • Generate ad hoc reports and data when required.
    • Prepare month end accounting entries.
    • Generate statistical reports for HR.
    • Checking all the hours for payroll processing.
    • Processing of leave, overtime, backpay, etc.
    • Printing of payslips for the applicable payrolls.

    Educational Requirements

    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent with computer knowledge.
    • Diploma/ Degree in HR or equivalent.

    Experience Requirements

    • At least 2 years’ experience in the payroll administrative functions.
    • At least 2 years’ experience in Payroll (VIP).
    • Knowledge of Nutun system an added advantage.
    • Knowledge of Excel and working with spreadsheets.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Good Communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal).
    • Knowledge of VIP/ Nutun Payroll System. 
    • Ability to remain calm under pressure without compromising performance standards and meet strict deadlines.
    • Ability to address unexpected problems quickly and effectively.
    • Knowledge of excel and the ability to work with spreadsheets.
    • A team-worker with flexible and creative ability.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to maintain confidentiality.

    General Assistant - Cape Town

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Execute all job cards as set out by the Teamleader.
    • Set up of mailroom machinery and equipment as per the set standard and procedure.
    • Ensure efficient use of consumables.
    • Troubleshoot equipment and report all defaults to the Supervisor.
    • Ensure clean working areas / benches and machinery.
    • Ensure that inserts of the correct amount are inserted.
    • Adherence to safety procedures and operational maintenance.
    • Adhoc administration functions.

    Educational Requirements

    • Matric or equivalent.
    • Computer Literacy – Advantageous.

    Experience Requirements

    • 2-3years’ experience as a General Assistant in the Despatch Department.
    • Experience in operating mailroom machinery and equipment – Advantageous.
