    Vendor Administrator

    Description

    Oza Holdings, a leader in the mining industry, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Vendor Administrator to join our team. As a Vendor Administrator, you will be responsible for managing our vendors and ensuring that they are complying with all of our requirements. You will also be responsible for managing the databases and tracking systems used to keep track of vendor information.

    The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment, excellent communication skills, and have a keen eye for detail. This position is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in the mining and minerals industry.

    Responsibilities

    • Registering and evaluating new suppliers and contractors according to our criteria and standards
    • Updating and maintaining the supplier database and records in the Central Supplier Database (CSD)
    • Communicating with suppliers and contractors regarding orders, deliveries, contracts, invoices, payments, etc.
    • Processing the supplier invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner
    • Monitoring the supplier performance and compliance with our policies and procedures
    • Resolving any issues or disputes with suppliers and contractors
    • Preparing and presenting reports on vendor administration activities and outcomes

    Requirements

    • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field
    • At least 2 years of experience in vendor management or procurement in a mining or industrial environment
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel experience is important)
    • Knowledge of procurement processes and procedures
    • Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
    • Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the coal / mining industry

    Site Security Manager - Mining Operation

    Description

    Oza Holdings is seeking a highly motivated Site Security Manager for our Mining Operation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the site, overseeing all aspects of security measures and protocols. This role requires a self-starter who will promote and maintain a high level of security awareness, working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders.     Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement security strategies, policies, procedures and guidelines for the site
    • Evaluate and improve existing security plans and programs
    • Train and supervise on-site security personnel, ensuring equipment and resources are adequate
    • Monitor security systems and identify potential risks or security breaches
    • Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations as needed
    • Develop relationships with external law enforcement agencies to support site security efforts
    • Maintain accurate records of security incidents and provide regular reports to senior leadership

    Requirements

    • PSIRA Grade B or Higher
    • In possession of Handgun Business Competency beneficial
    • At least 5 years of experience in security management in the mining or related industry
    • Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
    • A proven track record of implementing successful security strategies and processes
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
    • Demonstrated ability to build rapport and relationships with stakeholders internally and externally

    Debtors Clerk - Manufacturing

    As a Debtors Clerk - Manufacturing, you will be responsible for managing the debtors book, reconciling accounts and ensuring all payments are received on time. Your ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will be a key factor for success. You will work closely with the Manufacturing team, the Finance Manager, and Creditors Clerk to ensure that all transactions are accounted for and are in compliance with Oza Holding's policies and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage and reconcile the debtors book
    • Ensure all payments are received on time
    • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, i.e Manufacturing team and customers
    • Preparing statements and invoices for debtors
    • Deal with debtor related queries
    • Manage a high volume of transactions daily
    • Record keeping and maintaining accurate documentation

    Requirements

    • 2+ Years Experience in a similar role in a Manufacturing industry setting
    • Formal Qualification (Minimum of Diploma) beneficial
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and time-management skills
    • Good numeracy abilities with experience in accounting and banking principles
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
    • Experience and knowledge of SAP or other accounting software advantageous
    • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
    • High level of accuracy in your work output and record keeping abilities.
