    Expert Architecture Advisor

    What you'll do:

    • The Customer Advisory Architecture Advisor (AA) works closely with SAP’s Sales organization and the Partner ecosystem to define the account strategy. AAs are responsible for bridging the gap between the customer’s business strategy and relevant solutions through crafting the to-be business and solution architectures and designing a transformation roadmap at the enterprise level to facilitate the customer’s adoption of Cloud-based architectures. They are trusted advisors for the customer to achieve their desired to-be SAP-based Enterprise Architecture.

    As an Architecture Advisor (AA), you will focus on the following key areas:

    Account Planning & Architecture Management Responsibilities

    • Support the assessment of current customer solutions from SAP and potential areas of opportunity for faster solution adoption & consumption, as well as footprint expansion.
    • Engage with customers to support sales cycles throughout the Customer Value Journey as an integral member of the SAP account team.
    • Drive business and IT architecture definitions to ensure consistency, cooperation, and alignment with SAP organizations, the customer, and partners.

    Creating an SAP Architecture Vision for the Customer

    • Support building customer demand through appropriate thought leadership positioning.

    • Ensure IT feasibility of the business capabilities mapping to SAP solution architecture. ​

    Being a Trusted Architecture Advisor for the Customer

    • Align living roadmap with current adoption/solution consumption​.

    What you bring:

    • Considerable experience with software/IT organizations as an IT Architecture or Enterprise Architecture Advisor and/or specific expertise with software solutions through Solution Management, Sales, Presales, Adoption/Consumption, Consulting or Business Development, demonstrating successful outcomes over multiple years.
    • Represent SAP as the trusted advisor within SAP and/or the market.
    • Deep knowledge of Cloud, Hosted Services, SaaS/ PaaS models and Cloud-based commerce/ business networks.

    • As a Senior Solution Sales Executive, you will lead the sales execution of SAP’s Business Transformation Management (BTM) portfolio across Southern and Emerging Africa in the Corporate Business segment.     Project Lead

    • As a Project Lead and Consultant in SAP’s DMLT team, you will lead the delivery of the data migration and transformation workstream in strategic customer projects. You’ll combine hands-on consulting expertise with strong project leadership to ensure smooth execution, alignment, and customer satisfaction throughout all phases of the engagement.

    S/4HANA Senior Finance Consultant

    PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

    • The S/4HANA Senior Finance Consultant will act as trusted partner to our customers on their journey to the cloud, from scoping and planning of the initial deployment to continuous value engineering. The Senior consultant role requires deep understanding of the cloud business model, the ERP processes across functional borders, as well as a service-oriented attitude with the aim to achieve customer delight.

    EXPECTATION AND TASKS

    • As SAP Premium Hub Center of Expertise (CoE) consultant, you will support EMEA customers on their SAP S/4HANA adoption projects; as well as live customers that need to optimize business process, monitor operations, upgrade existing systems, etc., through the support from SAP Premium Engagement services.
    • The CoE Senior S/4HANA Finance Consultant must be able to accompany customers executing S/4HANA implementation projects with SAP Partners, or SAP led. The Consultant will provide guidance and support across all SAP Activate phases to ensure a successful S/4HANA implementation project

    Your role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements. You need excellent SAP Finance Software skills, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment. According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:

    • Prepare, design, realize and support Go-Lives for customer implementation projects
    • Support feasibility studies and process design reviews
    • Detailed planning of process implementation

    MANDATORY SKILLS

    • Exceptional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members. 

    Professional Experience

    • 10+ years of professional experience; demonstrated knowledge / expertise of at least one industry / solution segment, preferable S4HANA Finance experience 

    PREFERABLE SKILLS

    • PMP or SAP Activate Certification will be preferred.
    • Relevant Finance and Accounting Certifications
    • Communication in German Language is plus.
    • Knowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS/ PaaS models, RISE are plus.
