    Senior Segment Marketing Manager:High Value

    Role Purpose

    • The Senior Segment Marketing Manager role is based within Consumer Business Unit.
    • The Senior Segment Marketing Manager is a leadership position that defines the Segment Strategy through the evaluation of segment Insights & Analytics in order to create Go to Market plans, Digital Marketing campaigns and developing propositions that delight subscribers, enabled by simplified CX/UX.

    Your responsibilities will include

    • Understand the market, competitors and segment opportunities
    • Identify customer and commercial opportunities through actionable insights
    • Define simple and differentiating segment branded claims and propose activities, propositions and customer experience developments to substantiate these.
    • Track and regularly report on segment performance, proposing improvement initiatives
    • Improve customer experience
    • Lead teams from all functions to deliver segment plans and improvement initiatives

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Matric (Essential)
    • 3 year Business related Degree or National Diploma (Essential)
    • Advanced commercial development, channel planning, CX, brand-marketing skills with broad based understanding of high impact market program deployment ideally from managing successful consumer P&Ls & category portfolios.
    • Degree, with commercial/marketing subjects, postgraduate studies an advantage
    • Previous work experience in telecoms/technology industries, FMCG and/or professional services
    • Min 8 years’ experience, with 3 years at management level

    Manager: Cyber Security Prevent

    CLOSING DATE: 18 March 2020

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Lead Cyber Prevent Team
    • Supervise deployment of security platforms and onboarding systems
    • Engage with key business stakeholders and operational partners in managing issues around the cyber security baseline
    • Lead cyber security baseline activities throughout Vodacom South Africa
    • Influence and improve upon existing processes through innovation and operational change
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators, determines gaps in performance metrics, and recommends/executes change management techniques for efficiency/quality improvements.
    • Ensures that the team meets and exceeds the expectations of internal and external customer based of defined SLAs
    • Evaluate existing technical capabilities and systems and identifies opportunities for improvement
    • Drive automation and efficiencies through rigorous process documentation and enablement of tools
    • Create of reports, vulnerability and patching dashboards, metrics and presentation to Senior Management.
    • Build a team that collaborates with other departments
    • Be active member of Technology Security Leadership team, responsible for delivery strategic technology security objectives
       

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Systems Analysis, or other related field with 5 years’ experience extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments OR
    • Matric with 10 years experience, extensive exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments
    • Extensive experience in business capability modelling and technical and solution architecture development in a digital business context
    • Experience working with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, XP, TDD, and BDD
    • Professional experience and knowledge of financial services and telecommunications industries strongly preferred
    • 10 Years working experience in leading of Cyber Security area and managing team of cyber threat intelligence specialists 
    • Demonstrated ability to be a thought leader and have excellent communication skills
    • Proficient in preparation of reports, dashboards and documentation
    • Ability to handle high pressure situations with key stakeholders

    Senior Specialist: Systems Engineer

    CLOSING DATE: 18 MARCH 2020

    The Purpose of this role:

    • The Systems Engineer is responsible for delivering, maintaining, and optimizing infrastructure, database, and middleware capabilities to support and enable the development and operations of modules and solutions.  This role is responsible for reviewing solution designs, understanding their impact on infrastructure, and ensuring the availability of supporting and enabling infrastructure from internal or external service providers.  The incumbent will monitor, maintain, and support the operational capacity, availability, and performance of the solutions against SLAs from a level two and level three support perspective.  This role is responsible for providing infrastructure-related level two and level three incident and problem management.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Work with service providers to forecast and right-size long-term capacity and performance requirements, iterating regularly
    • Determine user and technical story impact on existing architecture, work processes and systems
    • Design and implement supporting infrastructure and tooling for software module development and operations
    • Design and implement supporting database and middleware capabilities to support software module development and operations
    • Monitor and maintain infrastructure performance, capacity and availability, providing 2nd and 3rd level of support for the resolution of infrastructure-related incidents and problems
    • Monitor and review infrastructure-related incidents and problems to identify improvements

    The successful candidate will have:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or National Diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field
    • A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience of which at least three years is in designing, developing, deploying and/or administering infrastructure solutions
    • Experience of current and emerging virtualization, infrastructure, and cloud and containers technologies and architectures, such as Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, Openstack, Docker etc.
    • Experience of configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet, Chef, Ansible, Salt etc.
    • Experience working with programming and scripting languages, such as Ruby and Python
    • Experience working closely with agile methodologies, such as Scrum, XP, and with teams leveraging DevOps and Continuous Delivery / Integration
    • Strong understanding of IT management best practice frameworks, such as ITIL and COBIT
    • Professional experience and knowledge of the Telecommunications industry preferred
