    Shipping Co-Ordinator

    Job Description

    • Manage the coordination, documentation, exports and related communication in terms of production planning and shipping for export customers
    • Manage the coordination, documentation and successful clearance and delivery on import shipments
    • Provide shipping instructions to shipping agents
    • Track all shipments to ensure compliance and on time delivery
    • Negotiate shipping and transport rates as required
    • Identify alternate and cost effective shipping options
    • Manage import and export schedule
    • Gather and distribute key information relevant to the beverage industry serviced by SCP to customers and management
    • Oversee and coordinate export orders for certain key account clients
    • Oversee and coordinate import shipments in coordination with the bulk receiving team
    • Compliance with all legislative regulations
    • Perform functions as per the company’s policy and procedures
    • Adhere to cost saving protocols of company and department
    • Ensure all SHEQ and audit requirements are strictly adhered to

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Matric
    • Relevant NQF 4/5 Diploma  
    • Minimum 2-5 years’ relevant work experience within the food and beverage industry
    • Competent in MS Office Suite programmes
    • Shipping background and definitely previous shipping knowledge

    Job Description

    • Apply Good Manufacturing Principles
    • Prepare fruit juice blends based upon Daily Production Instruction
    • Picking yard to be neat at all times
    • Stack empty containers/pallets orderly and safely
    • Perform daily forklift inspections and drive forklift as required
    • Transfer raw materials to blending tank and record relevant information as requested on DPI
    • Perform equipment Cleaning in Place (CIP) as per instruction and record on CIP log sheet

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years related work or chemical plant experience
    • Knowledge of SHE principles

    Deputy Company Secretary - Woodmead

    Job Description

    • Assist in drafting the various reports as part of the Group’s Integrated Report
    • Plays a key role in the preparation of Board and Committee Documents
    • Provide assistance to the Group Compliance Officer in ensuring compliance with Group Secretariat related legislation and regulations
    • Draft internal governance policies, procedures and internal controls in the management of the Group Secretariat function and ensure adherence thereto
    • Ensure compliance with JSE listing rules, including the drafting of market announcements; regulations; company law and corporate governance guidelines
    • Provide detailed project management of Executive, Board and Committee meetings
    • Attendance and involvement at board meetings
    • Prepare agendas and papers for Board and Committee meetings
    • Provide expert assistance to the Group Investor Relations Office
    • Ensure properly convened shareholder’s meetings
    • Ensure meetings are professionally minuted and documented
    • Provide leadership to the Group Secretariat Team
    • Build a strong and cohesive team by recruiting top talent and creating an inclusive, high-performing and healthy team culture
    • Provide technical direction and guidance to the Group Secretariat team through expert advice, performance management and employee engagement

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Recognised legal degree (B Com Law/BA Law/LLB)
    • Postgraduate degree
    • Admitted Attorney
    • Minimum 10 years’ assistant company secretarial experience
    • Minimum of 8 years JSE listed company secretarial experience (including minute taking)
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience with the JSELR, Companies Act and commercial practice
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in managing a secretariat department
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in advising boards and committees on governance and compliance matters
    • In-depth knowledge of establishing Group Secretariat policies and procedures
    • Demonstrated knowledge of drafting board and committee documents
