    HRD Trainer Process

    Purpose of the role:
    This role is responsible to execute practical skills training and assessment for C1- C2 employees including skills programmes. Executes training and assessment in an unconstrained and constrained area. Execution and delivery of Processing / generic / site specific Induction. The maintenance of applicable MQA accreditation criteria in a designated area to ensure compliance. The time frame of work is 12 months.
     

    Work of the role:

    • Executed skills development for competency.
    • Compliance to training and assessment with approved methodology and learning material
    • (learning delivery system).
    • Compliance to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
    • Training resources in compliance with best practice.
    • Compliance in terms of MQA and QCTO requirements
    • Executed and delivered Processing / generic / site specific Induction, Equipment Operating
    • Skills and ancillary and skills training.
    • Progressive reports on predetermined targets for skills development.
    • Relationships with relevant stakeholders

    Qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills:

    •  Processing Supervisor Development Program Certificate.
    •  NQF 4 OD ETDP Certificate.
    •  Assessor Certificate
    •  3 years processing experience

    ER Specialist Litigation

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
    The ER Specialist to deal with all the provisions of the different legislatives a Company legally have to comply with. The role will be responsible for professional advice, implementation, updating and maintenance of all the industrial relations practices and systems in the field of Labour Law/litigation. The role needs to initiate appropriate interaction with role players such as the CCMA, Labour Court and Department of Labour and of Mineral and Resources (DMR). Organise high level interventions with CCMA to train and orientate conflict handling and the building world class relationships in the workplace for a better understanding of business management and
    principles.


    WORK OF THE ROLE:

    • Preparation and representing the Operations at the CCMA with regards to all different
    • kinds of disputes.
    • Provide expert advice to the Operations for the implementation and maintenance of best
    • practice systems related to Labour Relations in the workplace
    • Maintain good employee relations
    • Develop and apply necessary administration systems and practices
    • Recommends strategies for effective labour relations and implements plans and policies
    • to support the requirements of the Operation.
    • Ensures that Employee Relations records and statistics are maintained and conducts
    • analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
    • Builds and maintains influential relationships with external and internal stakeholders.

    QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

    • NQF 7 Bachelor’s Degree/Advanced Diploma in Human Resource management or Employee relations.
    • Additional qualification in Labour Law will be advantageous
    • At least five years Employee Relations Management experience, of which three years in a middle management position and at least one year in the mining environment.

    Engineering Assistant Discipline Specific OC

    Purpose of the role

     The Engineering Assistant provides a pool of support of basic discipline specific engineering, technical skills and is required to
    support all the Engineering Foreman/Artisan to whom the individual is allocated to perform low complexity high volume work.
