    Plant Preparation Manager

    SUMMARY

    • Our client, a global manufacturer is on the lookout for a Plant Preparation Manager who is seeking a great opportunity with a fantastic organisation. As the Plant Preparation Manager for this prestigious organisation, you will form an integral part of the Project and Facility management team and lead the project from concept to the implementation stage.

    Maintenance Manager

    SUMMARY

    • One of our top clients is looking for a Maintenance Manager in Auxiliary Services who will be responsible for the maintenance of the plant machinery by ensuring the availability and reliability of the equipment including compliance with legislation governing the mine.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Ensuring safe installation, operation and maintenance of the equipment with regards to planning, leading, organising, controlling and increasing the reliability of the equipment through cost analysis
    • Implementing and executing maintenance strategies to ensure the availability of the equipment
    • Performing preventative maintenance using condition monitoring techniques for component repairs
    • Ensuring critical spares availability
    • Ensuring rapid response to breakdowns
    • Ensuring that all safety appliances, mechanisms and guards are maintained in good condition
    • Ensuring legal compliance of equipment, especially TMM, Lifting Equipment, and pressure vessels to the relevant safety standards
    • Ensuring compliance with training requirements for the employees and contractors
    • Ensuring all work performed by contractors comply with MHSA, company policies and standards
    • Performing SHEQ audits and inspections to ensure compliance
    • Accountable for the comprehensive cost control and budgetary requirements
    • Supervising, coordinating and controlling the activities of multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the optimization of human resources
    • Coaching, developing performance agreements for subordinates, evaluating subordinates against performance agreement standards and developing career development plans based on performance evaluation
    • Identifying training needs and ensuring appropriate training is conducted (formalized and on the job)
    • Monitoring subordinates and initiating disciplinary action where required

     
    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • B-Tech, BEng, National Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
    • Government Certificate of Competency in Mechanical or Electrical (Mines and Works)
    • 5 years experience in Auxiliary or processing plant maintenance in the mining industry

    Sales Engineer

    SUMMARY

    • This role requires a strong Sales Engineer to service the needs of a company’s existing clients, respond to new sales inquiries and support the activities of the external sales team.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receive inbound customer sales inquiries and provide quotations, product or service information, support and pricing details in response to inbound enquiries, promoting the features and benefits of the company’s products and services
    • Process sales orders and arrange the dispatch and administration of products and services sold
    • Receive, manage or escalate customer complaints related to the sale of the company’s products and services
    • Maintain sales statistics and records of sales performance
    • Provide administrative support for the production of RFIs, RFPs, RFQs and other sales-related documentation
    • Identify sales leads and escalate them to external sales staff

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Matric Certificate/NQF Level 4 Electrical Qualification or The Equivalent

    Divisional Manager – Material Handling

    SUMMARY

    • Our client is looking to employ a Divisional Manager, who will be responsible for Managing the Material Handling Division across the different branches, whilst ensuring that sales, quotations and reviewing of weekly, monthly or quarterly budgets are achieved.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Provide technical application and sales support to the local team and branches as and when required
    • Visit Project Houses and Consultants, Branches and clients to assist with project specifications and technical clarifications

    • Identify areas for improvement to continually drive business performance and desired results
    • Assist all clients technically ensuring the best solution is offered
    • Provide technical, application or sales training to educate staff on Material Handling products, solutions and applications

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Grade 12/ Matric
    • N6 Qualification, Diploma or Degree
    • At Least 3-5 Years in product management with supervisory experience

    • Previous Syspro experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • Minimum of 10 years experience in a similar position in Mining and comminution environment
    • Proven understanding of Process Plant, Sales Management and Business principals
    • Proven budgeting & financial modelling experience
    • Exposure and knowledge of the Mining & Minerals Processing industry and market
