Our client is looking to employ a Divisional Manager, who will be responsible for Managing the Material Handling Division across the different branches, whilst ensuring that sales, quotations and reviewing of weekly, monthly or quarterly budgets are achieved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical application and sales support to the local team and branches as and when required
Visit Project Houses and Consultants, Branches and clients to assist with project specifications and technical clarifications
Motivate, lead and assist the sales team and branches
Evaluate current stock holdings and landed cost to ensure the team makes GP targets
Oversee and manage Material Handling branch operations and project activities across various regions nationally in order to provide necessary support where required
Implement annual budgets for local teams and branches
Ensure timely project execution and attain quality and specification requirements
Assist with business development into new and existing markets
Assist and ensure that the team reaches annual sales and GP targets
Visit project sites to monitor progress, maintain relationships, and verify quality, safety and customer satisfaction
Analyse project progress and review monthly projections
Identify cost reduction opportunities to achieve financial targets
Identify areas for improvement to continually drive business performance and desired results
Assist all clients technically ensuring the best solution is offered
Provide technical, application or sales training to educate staff on Material Handling products, solutions and applications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Grade 12/ Matric
N6 Qualification, Diploma or Degree
At Least 3-5 Years in product management with supervisory experience
Advanced numeracy and literacy skills
Ability to both read and write English and Afrikaans
