    Administrative Assistant (Stellenbosch Techno Park)

    EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    • At least 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative or financial role.
    • Relevant degree will count in the candidate's favor.
    • Analytical with extremely good planning and organizational skills and excellent communication skills.  
    • Must be able to handle high volumes of work under pressure.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • The successful candidate will be partly responsible for administrative functions in one of the commodity trading departments an duties will include:

    Contracts:

    • Capturing and submitting purchase and sales contracts on the system
    • Perform cost calculation on transactions
    • Check that contracts are signed
    • Drafting manual contracts

    Billing:

    • Invoicing and storing necessary documents
    • Email/post invoice to customer
    • Make transfers to other marketers
    • Making out credit notes
    • Create and send out pro forma invoices

    Loading of external invoices:

    • Prepare accounts payable invoices for payment (POC)
    • Load storage invoices and other supplier invoices
    • Load transport invoices

    Miscellaneous:

    • Closing of contracts
    • Six month reconciliations
    • Handle minor enquiries/complaints as soon as possible
    • New debtors and creditors collection of necessary paperwork

    Inventory:

    • Complete request for inventory adjustments where necessary

    Logistics administration:

    • Generate loading contracts
    • Update of loads on the dashboard
    • Booking of trucks at suppliers and clients
    • Generate claims/losses on loads as necessary
    • Receiving and capturing of proof of deliveries

    Skills and qualifications:

    • A tertiary qualification in Logistics will be to the candidate’s advantage.
    • At least 1 – 2 years’ relevant experience in a similar position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop relationships with transporters and clients.
    • Compile transport contracts using templates.
    • Follow up trucks to determine accurate ETA.
    • Good communication with clients, keeping them informed about the status of the cargo.
    • Build good relationships with loading and off-loading points and identifying key role players at loading and off-loading points.
    • Daily administration function – feed all load data into computer database; reconciliation of PODs and loading weights.
    • Collecting of POD’s.
    • Weekly planning of truck movements and stock delivery.
    • Handling of client, transport and supplier related queries.
    • After hours contact with all relevant parties, 7 days a week.

    Receptionist - Somerset West

    • The successful candidate will be well skilled in English and be in possession of minimum Grade 12 certificate coupled with at least 2 years relevant experience.

    HR Generalist - Stellenbosch

    The main responsibilities of the role include the following:

    • Recruitment
    • Create job descriptions.
    • Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding vacant positions.
    • Coordinate interviews with candidates or/and recruitment agencies.
    • Filter & shortlist candidates from the careers database to save on recruitment costs.
    • Headhunt /source candidates via different job boards/recruitment platforms, e.g., LinkedIn, PNet etc.
    • Do candidate references.

    HR Administration:

    • Maintaining records of employee data in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met.

    • Accurate and timeous submission of payroll reconciliations, queries, and reports to the Financial
    • Manager for payments and reporting purposes.
    • Handle payroll related queries.

    Ad-Hoc functions:

    • Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance to business units.
    • HR Presentations.
    • Minute taking at HR meetings.
    • Creating designs on CANVA for internal emails.
    • Distributing Pension & Provident fund and medical insurance correspondence to employees.
    • Wellness days: Research and present wellness day options and potential service providers.
    • Assisting in creating and distributing HR surveys via Forms on MS Teams.
    • Internal training sessions: Arranging boardroom, training material, refreshments etc.

    Requirements:

    • Basic Qualification: BA HRM; BCom HRM; BCom Industrial Psychology or National Diploma in Human Resources Management.

    Intermediate Structural Engineer - Western Cape, CPT

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist Project Lead Engineer in analysing and designing the structural components of projects.
    • Collaborate with design teams to identify and recommend action plan for problem-solving.
    • Reviewing project drawings for accuracy and adherence to correct codes.

    Intermediate / Senior Electrical Engineer - Western Cape, CPT

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    TERTIARY EDUCATION: 

    • Eng. (Electrical) or Tech. (Electrical – Heavy Current)

    • Coordinate and lead the assigned team of Engineers and Technicians on a daily basis and ensure that design excellence is achieved throughout.

    Senior Debtors Controller - Somerset West

    Requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification will be advantageous
    • Minimum debtors experience of at least 5-8 years
    • Experience working with Evolution and Excel will be an advantage
    • Must be able work accurately and under pressure

    Duties will include but not limited to:

    • Manage the OPEX debtors function
