    Developers Project Manager

    Job Description

    A Professional Project Manager who looks after the interest of the client or a Construction Project Manager who has worked with a big-five contractor, you will have a longstanding history working with either P-grade or A-Grade Commercial projects, with your duties including but not limited to, managing contractors and subcontractors, overseeing project scope, time as well as budget, overseeing the management of the programme, assisting with the adjudication of contractor claims, sorting out municipal issues, performing site visits, reporting and most importantly keeping an open chain of communication throughout the business. Your involvement will also include pre-contract work, the design scope and appointing the professional team. 

    Requirement

    • Someone who is able to successfully manage the project with the Developer's hat on, 
    • You will have at least 7 years' experience in construction with a focus on high-end commercial projects, paired with a related qualification in Construction, Quantity Surveying or Project Management. From either side of the lens, 
    • It is important that you have experience with the JBCC contract as well as master's knowledge of MS Projects. A PrCPM qualification will secure.

    Centre Soft Services Manager

    Job Description

    In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of soft services including security, cleaning, hygiene, pest control, waste removal, parking, and landscaping. Your key responsibilities will include managing various service providers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, overseeing service-level agreements, conducting regular site inspections, documenting meeting minutes and shift registers, as well as providing comprehensive reports to the Centre Manager.

    Requirement

    • To be considered for this position, interested candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years' experience in a soft services facilities management role, with exposure to commercial properties for at least one year.

    Job Description

    Your role will be to ensure the profitability of this portfolio by reducing costs while upholding professional standards and delivering exceptional service.     Head of Development & Infrastructure

    Your duties will include but are not limited to: 

    • Heading up acquisitions including managing all due diligence process to mitigate any potential risks. 
    • Conducting feasibility studies. 
    • Managing the townplanning/zoning process. 
    • Negotiating and structuring deals with the Executive team. 
    • Securing pipeline for future projects. 
    • Running and planning new and existing projects, ensuring that they are delivered within the specified time period. 
    • Driving project concept, brief and market product. 
    • Heading up the unit design.

    • Oversight of tender approval and budget management.

    • Reporting development and review for Leadership, Shareholders and Board Meetings. 
    • Strategic oversight of all functions within the Development and Project Team as well as the organisation at large.

    Requirement

    • The successful incumbent will hold a Property Studies, Construction, Architecture, Quantity Surveying or any related degree, 
    • 8 to 10 years' experience in the Development Planning and Project Management space. 
    • It is beneficial to have experience in high-end Residential/Senior Living or Hospitality development space but vital to have had at least 4 years' experience in managing a team of people. 
    • Well-articulated with great attention to detail, you will be able to maintain the order of project process and having a willingness to put on any hat when needed.

    Industrial Development Manager

    Job Description

    At this level, you will be expected to work independently and have the gravitas and experience to handle the entire professional team. 

    Key responsibilities include: 

    • Producing detailed feasibility studies and ensuring that all bottlenecks to completing developments timeously are swiftly dealt with in terms of financing, town planning, professional appointments and municipal issues. 
    • This client facing role will have you dealing directly with occupiers, but also working with internal stakeholders and investment committees – as such it would suit a confident communicator who is able to back up their advice with solid analytics and research. 
    • This fast-paced environment will see you managing multiple projects at various stages simultaneously and will test your resource & time management skills daily. Benefiting from the assistance of an in-house new business development team who will do the majority of deal sourcing and help in responding to RFPs, as well as a development coordinator, you will be able to focus on project planning and delivery much more than in many other teams of this nature.

    Requirement

    • The ideal candidate will hold a BSc degree in Building Science, Property Studies, or a related field within the built environment. 
    • They should have 5 to 10 years of work experience, with at least 5 years of these being within a development company or in a fund’s development team directly.
