    We’re looking for an energetic, reliable, and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser Intern to join our dynamic team in Louis Trichardt. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment, takes pride in creating eye-catching product displays, and wants hands-on experience with leading brands in-store.

    • Location : Louis Trichardt , Limpopo
    • Stipend : R3500 per month

    Duties and Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Meridian Wine Merchants is currently seeking a passionate and results-driven individual to join our team as a Sales Consultant on a Fixed term basis.     Duties and Responsibilities

    • Execute sales targets across the allocated territory in line with regional and national objectives
    • Drive revenue growth across both On-Consumption and Off-Consumption channels

    Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate all SETA grant-related activities, including discretionary and mandatory grants.

    • Facilitate and support tax incentive and grant claim processes.
    • Facilitate SETA claims in line with contractual requirements.
    • Manage SETA queries and ensure timely resolution and closure.
    • Maintain audit readiness and minimise compliance findings.
    • Prepare and submit required reports to management and SETA bodies within deadlines.
    • Manage the end-to-end administration of learnerships, internships, and skills programmes.
    • Ensure all programmes comply with SETA and QCTO requirements.
    • Oversee learner registration, contracts, attendance registers, documentation and system uploads.
    • Coordinate the assessment processes, moderation processes and learner credit uploads.
    • Track competency reports and ensure documentation is ready for claims submission.
    • Monitor programme progress against implementation plans and targets.
    • Develop and execute detailed rollout plans for learning programmes.
    • Coordinate communication and logistics with facilitators, venues, line managers, assessors, moderators, and learners.
    • Ensure timely communication and scheduling of all programme activities.
    • Oversee preparation of learning materials, manuals, and stationery.
    • Organise site visits, assessments, and learner verification activities where required.
    • Manage learner communication platforms, including WhatsApp groups and programme updates.
    • Provide ongoing support throughout the learner lifecycle (onboarding, engagement, and offboarding).

    • Conduct learner satisfaction surveys and provide insights for programme improvement.
    • Track learner progress, certification outcomes, and post-programme placement for up to 6 months.
    • Recommend appropriate learner placements to support successful completion of qualifications.

    • Track learner status including active, inactive, new, and completed participants.
    • Ensure high standards of data integrity and administration accuracy.
    • Generate management and SETA compliance reports within required timeframes.
    • Monitor and report on programme performance, completion rates, and outcomes.

    Minimum Requirements

    Qualification

    • Diploma in Administration, Business Management, or related field (NQF Level 6).

    Preferred:

    • Degree in Administration or Business Management (NQF Level 7).
    • Assessor and Moderator Certification.
    • Project Management Certification.

    Experience

    • Minimum 3 years' experience in administration of skills development programs and SETA/QCTO related activities.
    • 4 year's experience or more will be highly advantageous. 

    Skills and Knowledge

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
    • Strong working knowledge of SETA LMIS systems (especially SSETA and W&R SETA).
    • Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint advantageous.
    • Strong understanding of SETA compliance, learnership administration, WSP/ATR processes and grant claims.
