    Research & Development Graduate

    About the role

    • As an R & D Graduate  at Reckitt, you will thrive in our fast-paced environment alongside a team of expert scientists dedicated to ensuring product safety and efficacy. Your meticulous attention to detail will be crucial in supporting technical dossier management and analytical lab compliance.

    Your responsibilities

    • Prepare and manage regulatory and technical documentation for licence variations, supporting global R&D activities with accurate scientific data and market compliance.
    • Conduct analytical chemistry testing, stability studies, data analysis, and reporting, ensuring adherence to SOP, ISO, GLP, safety, and good laboratory practices.
    • Support and contribute to formulation development, raw material management, and low‑risk R&D projects, ensuring feasibility, validation, stability testing, industrial trials, and dossier preparation are completed on time.
    • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners, including competitive product performance evaluations, to drive successful R&D outcomes, particularly within gastrointestinal products.
    • Ensure effective laboratory operations through accurate record‑keeping, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and delivery of projects in full, on time, and to required quality standards.

    The experience we're looking for

    • Are you a recent graduate of bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline with Honors or Masters, PHD (2024 onwards)
    • Have 0-2 years work experience in FMCG 
    • Demonstrated ability to manage projects of varying complexity efficiently, with strong attention to detail and quality.
    • Strong communication skills, capable of providing sound advice and best‑practice guidance within technical environments.
    • Innovative, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain high scientific standards.
    • Are you able to commit to a minimum duration of 24 Months.

    • General Understanding of Healthcare environment in SA
    • Ability to detail product to specialists , GP’s /Pharmacist.
    • Track record of successful sales detailing, ideally in consumer goods.
    • Understanding of target & KPI and how to interpret and analyse data.
    • Understanding of Budget and Finances
    • Strong communicator, able to adapt messaging for different audiences.
    • A proactive and resourceful team player capable of working autonomously.
    • Intermediate knowledge of Ms Office (Outlook, word , Excel and PowerPoint)

    Regional Engineering Head Africa

    About the role

    • Seeking a leader in Regional Engineering Head Africa who role is to oversee all engineering activities within the region (South Africa & Nigeria), ensure efficient delivery of the regional supply capital investment plan, the development of capital masterplans, compliance to preferred suppliers list and relevant engineering standards & processes, capital project review and remediation, governance, and ad-hoc support.     Your responsibilities
    Strategic Leadership: 

    • Define the vision and strategy for engineering capital projects across Reckitt's site.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to align capital masterplans with overall business objectives. 

    Capital Project Management: 

    • Establish and maintain effective capital project management systems in line with global standards from idea generation through execution to post investment review.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capital projects.
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in CAPEX execution.
    • Ensuring Vertical Start Up of new purchased assets.

    Governance & Reporting: 

    • Ensure capital project governance in compliance of financial requirements.
    • Attend project/factory steercos.

    • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, quality assurance, and R&D.

    • Conduct thorough capital project reviews to minimise execution risks.
    • Develop and implement risk reduction strategies. 
    • Ensure compliance with relevant engineering regulations and standards. 

    Training and Education: 

    • Provide training and guidance to employees on engineering protocols. 
    • Foster a safety-conscious culture throughout the organization. 
    • Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis: 

    Lead investigations into capital project deviations. 

    • Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve the process.

    Team Development

    • Mentor and develop engineering managers and teams to build a talent bench.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement & collaboration

    The experience we're looking for

    • Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline or related field.
    • Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in engineering out of which 5 years leadership role in Engineering within the CPG industry or Pharmaceutical. 
    • Proven track record of successfully implementing engineering capital investment programs.
    • Demonstrated experience in delveiry of Vertical startup. 
    • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices. 
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
    • Willingness to travel as required.

    Desirable:

    • 3+ years of experience in regional engineering role  role in CPG.
    • Proven experience working in a multinational environment and managing cross-cultural teams with experience working in different geographies
    • Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline or related field advantages
