    Why do we need you ?

    • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and observe safety precautions as laid down in the applicable legislation.
    • Complete daily safety check list in area of responsibility.
    • Reporting of safety incidents and non-conformities to Maintenance Foreman.
    • Ensure adherence to general Factory regulations.
    • Complete plant maintenance tasks according to the SAP plant maintenance system.
    • Work on mechanical breakdowns and tasks when plant is in production and complete the relevant EWO’s.
    • Reporting of any maintenance risks arising from maintenance tasks.
    • Assist with production problems if and when necessary
    • Participating in WCM and EHS activities as required
    • Work according to OHS Act 85 of 1993 and NOSA standards
    • The incumbent will also be required to perform any other reasonable tasks given by the Maintenance Foreman from time to time

    Retail Sales Manager

    Why do we need you ?

    • Deliver results through implementing strong sales management practices in accordance with account management principles.

    Trade Marketing Specialist

    • Support the development and execution of trade marketing campaigns.

    Field Marketer

    Why do we need you ?

    • Product merchandising – ensure products are displayed in-line with display guidelines in accordance with Saint-Gobain store standards and inline with store protocol and guidelines
    • Space negotiations – Increase and maintain primary display space as well as negotiate secondary display space for promotional displays which can contribute to the increase of sell-out of product.
    • Displays – maintain displays in line with merchandising standards, erect modular displays and place POS (point of sale) elements in store to promote Saint-Gobain products inline with merchandising guidelines where and when required.
    • Promotions – pro-actively identify new opportunities product promotions to drive sell-out;
    • Training – offer technical support and product training to retail staff who will be selling Saint Gobain products on a regular basis on existing and potential new products.
    • Market Intelligence and ad-hoc research – provide information on consumer and/or competitor behavior in retail outlet in terms of new products, price, promotion, activation or any other activity impacting on sales, product expansion and in-store activity

    • This role requires an individual with Matric and Tertiary degree in Marketing/Construction and Architectural will be an added advantage with a minimum of 1 year in sales or merchandising experience. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver's licence as the role requires traveling. Ability to interact with customers and stakeholders within retail environment as well as internal environment. Your Good communication & presentations skills will ensure success in this role.

    Key Account Manager

    Why do we need you ?

    • Identify the customers’ key priorities for us to improve our service / management of their account and champion internal projects to quickly improve on the current position.
    • Create and develop a sales plan for the account in line with the channel strategy which can be easily understood by all stakeholders concerned creating a clear vision of how the plan can successfully contribute towards the objectives of the customer and GIM.
    • Oversee the implementation of the account plan, including the negotiation of trading terms, which will deliver the best possible balance of volume, product mix and profitability for all relevant Business Units.
    • Manage the account wiring such that we have the right people engaged in productive relationships across our customers and our businesses/functions, to avoid duplication

    • Facilitate the exchange of information between customers, sales teams and other departments so that up to date information is available to all parties and a serviceable balance of supply and demand is maintained.
    • Identify and develop key relationships within the account to develop high levels of customer intimacy and insight.
    • Adopt a balanced Construction Products approach to account management to: develop and implement our overall account strategy/plan, aligned with stakeholders internally and externally; priorities agreed; required resource clearly defined and confirmed as available.
