    Manager BP&A, Cost & Project Control, Systems - M2

    The Role:

    • In this role you will help drive a comprehensive finance program around the Company’s global business reporting and forecasting & planning activities as well as help drive the company’s day-to-day financial planning and analysis, management reporting operations, and business transaction support activities. This role serves as a key business partner support to the Business Control department. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing process strategies, managing process resources, optimizing current processes, and maintaining process documents. Ultimately, this position will maintain the efficiency of processes to reduce costs and ensure optimization.

    Key Performance Areas:

    OPERATIONAL

    • Responsible for the timely, accurate and complete reporting of Actuals and Forecasts
    • Supporting, coordinating, and consolidating the annual budgets and rolling forecasts
    • Preparation of insight and actions reporting for the Sales Area: working capital, P&L, and balance sheet analysis
    • Stay abreast of developments in those industries in which the company operates
    • Active contribution to continuous financial reporting process improvements
    • Coordinating, consolidation and interpreting of monthly financial reporting as well as financial performance vs expectations; including drivers of variances, business insights, corrective actions and recommendations for decision making

    ANALYSIS AND REPORTING

    • Analyze the business objectives of the stakeholder and develops solutions to their business issues.
    • Analyze and define processes of business both “To Be” and “As Is.”
    • Identify, analyze, and documents business requirements and delivers work products throughout the project life cycle.
    • Analyze the entire business, including data, goals, process, and organization.
    • Translate business requirements to System/Functional requirements.
    • Compile key business metrics and report to management
    • Support monthly closing, and special projects and analysis as needed.
    • Collaborate with the finance department and Business Control to support overall department goals and objectives.
    • Assist in the review/audit of company financial practices and commercial processes to ensure compliance and proper functioning of internal controls within Business control.

    PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

    • Problem solving and prioritizing issues identified with the business area and working with formal and informal teams to develop solutions that can work across the region.
    • These initiatives will cover areas identified in improving cost, reliability, safety and process through;
    • Identifying and collating Issues
    • Quantifying size, impact and value of existing issues to priorities work
    • Reviewing scope of work to be undertaken
    • Designing improvements
    • Testing and quantifying improvements
    • Implementing improvements and managing change expectations
    • Monitoring performance to ensure continued compliance

    YOUR PROFILE:

    Education

    • B. Com Accounting / Finance 
    • CIMA qualified 

    Experience

    • 5 years’ experience in a financial planning & analysis role.
    • Exposure and interest to ERP and comfortable with IT
    • Strong attention to detail and an enquiring nature
    • Budgeting and Forecasting, Business Analysis, Business Support knowledge
    • Advanced Computer Literacy in MS Office particularly Excel, PowerBI and any data visualisation tools 
    • Experience in ERP systems, Accounting & reporting systems 
    • Mining experience advantageous

    Systems Business Analyst - P3

    The Role:

    • The Systems Business Analyst will infuse technological solutions to business-related problems and align IT development with the operational systems that run the business. They will oversee business systems—gathering and analysing information or data, and determining where to make improvements

    Key Performance Areas:

    OPERATIONAL

    • Evaluate company systems and current processes
    • Compile objectives for improving and streamlining company procedures
    • Evaluate company performance, information, and formats
    • Stay abreast of developments in those industries in which the company operates
    • Research and compare hardware and software needs to make recommendations for the company
    • Researches economic progressions to assist the organization's financial planning
    • Document and create reports on systems effectiveness and recommend new system developments

    • Bachelor Information Technology/BSc Software Engineering/BCom Information Systems

    Experience

    • 3-5 years’ experience as a Systems Business Analyst
    • Experience in business process design (or redesign) and documentation as needed
    • Experience in business performance analysis and root cause analysis 
    • Experience in project management (end to end)
    • Experience in ERP systems, Accounting & reporting systems 
    • Advanced Computer Literacy in MS Office particularly Excel, PowerBI and any data visualisation tools 
    • Mining experience advantageous

    Storeman -W1

    Job Description 

    • Administers and operates the organization's warehouse, including processing, packaging and storage of supplies, materials and equipment.

    Key Performance Areas

    • Accounts for all materials and supplies in the stores facilities; audits goods received into warehouse.
    • Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures.
    • Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
    • Ensures the effectiveness of operating procedures, space utilization, and maintenance and protection of facilities and equipment.

    Profile Required

    • Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
    • Certificate in Logistics or Supply Chain.
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar position in a Warehousing/Distribution/Supply Chain environment
    • Good working knowledge of International Trade and Freight processes
    • Proficient in Microsoft office. Minimum requirement is to be proficient at intermediate level in Excel
    • Proven ability to work efficiently within a Distribution Service environment and complete duties in an autonomous manner
    • Commitment to excellence and timeliness in internal client service
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Strong and proven focus on business and process improvement
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
