    Quality Assurance Officer: Gauteng North

    Key Performance Areas will include but not limited to the following: 

    • Ensure effective and efficient execution, coordination and implementation of quality assurance services on Learning Programmes delivery according to approved Learning Programme Roll Out Plans. 
    • Monitor, Evaluate and Recommend accreditation of new Skills Developments Providers and Assessment Centres. 
    • Conduct 50% onsite external moderation and monitoring within Projects. 
    • Evaluate and Approve Learning Programmes applications from applicant Skills Development Providers for W&RSETA aligned programmes. 
    • Conduct workplace assessments and approvals to ensure workplaces meet SETA requirements and specifications prior to Provincial Manager endorsement, in line with WBLP regulations. 
    • Facilitate extension of scope. Evaluate and Approve assessors’ and moderators’ applications including for Occupational Qualifications. 
    • Capacitate stakeholders on quality assurance matters. 
    • Address and respond to stakeholder queries within 48 hours. 
    • Conduct workplace approvals and the Quality Assurance in relation to W&RSETA scope of qualification requirements. 
    • Capacitate TVET Colleges on quality assurance and SETA System requirements. 
    • Coordinate external moderation of assessments for both Legacy and Occupational Qualifications; and endorse compliant Reports. 
    • Capacitate the Provincial office team on Quality Assurance matters on an ongoing basis. 
    • Audit and endorse learner information and credit uploads (NLRD). 
    • Quality Assuror issuing of Statements of Results at the Provincial office and certificates by Head Office ETQA Unit. 
    • Participate in the planning of Provincial activities and projects. 
    • Facilitate MIS training sessions for SDPs. 
    • Risk management and fraud prevention. 
    • Prepare for internal and external DHET/SAQA/QCTO audits. 
    • Facilitate and champion Quality Assurance policies during annual organizational policy review. 
    • Prepare and submit monthly reports on quality assurance activities to the Provincial Manager and Senior Projects Specialists. 
    • Monitor workplace provision in line with quality assurance requirements and learning programme. 
    • Give support to other Business Units in closure of projects. 
    • Continuously track, monitor and measure the learner results and performance against set standards and targets (‘the number’) in order to timeously implement viable solutions to achieve targets and to ensure adequate budget availability. 
    • Provide formal, standard reporting and feedback ensuring accurate, up-to-date reflection of project and programme performance. 
    • Conduct site visits to stakeholders for learner / site verification and monitoring. 
    • Up-to-date knowledge and intelligence to continuously support service delivery, programme and project implementation and improve performance. 
    • Maintain a close working relationship between and amongst the team to optimally support performance and deliver on stakeholder needs and requirements. 
    • Contribute to knowledge-sharing, ensuring proper document management and setting of benchmarks for improved performance. 
    • Maintain a good relationship between the different divisions to continuously support performance and delivery against set objectives. 
    • Ensure adherence to W&RSETA policies, procedures and regulations. 
    • Communicate effectively and professionally with all Stakeholders. 
    • Effectively plan, coordinate, manage and execute ad hoc projects 

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

    • National Diploma in Public Administration/Public Management/ Human Resources Development
    • Registered as Assessor / Moderator with ETDP SETA 
    • 5 Years’ experience in a training environment at specialist level dealing with Educational Quality Assurance 
    • Excellent knowledge and understanding of QCTO, assessment and moderation practices, learning programme design, E-learning and RPL 
    • Proficient in MS Office, MS Project 
    • External verifier preferred 
    • Exposure to program and material development 
    • Project Management Exposure / Certificate 
    • Knowledge, understanding and appreciation of regulatory and legislative framework within the SETA landscape 
    • A good knowledge and understanding of the NDP; NSDP; Skills Development Act; NSP; HRDS; NQF; SAQA Act; QCTO

    Personal Assistant: Chief Corporate Services Executive

    Key Performance Areas will include but not limited to the following: 

    • Filter, screen and manage emails and correspondence on behalf of the Executive effectively ensuring urgent correspondence are highlighted and the Executive is informed 
    • Manage, maintain and coordinate the Executive dairy and scheduling of meetings, activities and requests effectively 
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and interact professionally with all levels of management, staff and external stakeholders 
    • Effectively manage travel and accommodation arrangements for the Executive 
    • Projects a positive demeanour regardless of changes in working conditions and shows the ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities without loss of composure 
    • Establish priorities to perform quickly, accurately and effectively under pressure of deadlines 
    • Ensure that travel and subsistence claims are duly completed accurately and submitted on time 
    • Prepare correspondence on behalf of the Executive, including the drafting of general replies 
    • Process invoices timeously and accurately according to standard procedures 
    • Develop, manage, control and ensure cost effective utilization of the office of the Executives budget 
    • Procure goods and services for the office and ensure compliance with SCM processes at all times, including PFMA compliance 
    • Prepare and draft minutes, reports, briefs, presentations and written communication for the Executives review 
    • Coordinate and quality manage documents to be submitted for the Executives signature 
    • Sound effective and efficient administration of all records and information to enable easy accessibility and accuracy and comprehensiveness of information 
    • Create a sequential filing system and ensure completeness and accuracy of all files, records and registers 
    • Liaise with other executives, business units, departments and provinces as requested by the Executive ensuring alignment with instructions and requests 
    • Ensure adherence to W&RSETA policies, procedures, PFMA and relevant legislation 
    • Continuously track, monitor and measure individual performance against set standards and performance targets 
    • Professional representation of the SETA ensuring all behaviours and conduct are aligned with the SETA values 
    • Assist across business units and functions with ad hoc requests to support business activities. 
    • Effectively plan, coordinate, manage and execute ad hoc projects as directed. 

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

    • National Diploma in Public Administration, Management, 
    • 3 years’ secretarial experience 
    • Report writing experience 
    • Advanced level of computer knowledge and literacy with MS Word, MS Power Point, MS Excel and MS Outlook 
    • Knowledge of the SETA operations and relevant Acts will be an advantage

    Specialist: Communication and Stakeholder Management

    Key Performance Areas will include but not limited to the following: 

    • Copy writing for all marketing material, annual reports, brochures and other organisational documentation ensuring optimal quality 
    • Manage the conceptualisation, content, editing, proof reading and production of publications such as newsletters and brochures 
    • Provide editorial services for publications and other documentation for the Organisation 
    • Content development for the website and other platforms 
    • Draft and edit press statements ensuring alignment to specifications and requirements
    • Provide proactive support in the implementation of the Marketing and Communications strategy and initiatives 
    • Provide input and insights into the Marketing and Communications Plan to implement the strategic objectives for the business unit 
    • Ensure that corporate identity standards are maintained 
    • Support and assist the Marketing and Communications team 
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure proactive communication of projects and other activities 
    • Support the development of a high performance culture in the business 
    • Execute and deliver on Marketing and Communications needs and requirements, within required time frames with optimal alignment with specifications 
    • Perform against set individual and respective Marketing and Communications delivery targets 
    • Ensure adherence to W&RSETA policies, procedures, PFMA and relevant legislation

    Minimum Qualifications and Experience 

    • Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism and Graphic Design. 
    • Working experience as a journalist will be highly advantageous 
    • 5 years’ working experience in a similar position 
    • Proven track record of managing diverse content development requirements for a corporate organisation 
    • MSWord, MS PowerPoint
