    ACDC Express Till Operator – Richmond Park (Milnertin/Century City)

    Description

    Purpose Of the Role:

    • The Express till Operator will oversee processing and receiving accurate payments.
    • Working the cash register (processing payments, issuing receipts).
    • Greeting customers and helping them with any questions they may have.

    Key Performance Arears: 

    • Manage transactions with customers using cash registers
    • Scan goods and ensure pricing is accurate
    • Collect payments whether in cash, debit card or credit card
    • Issue receipts, refunds, change
    • Attention to detail
    • Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
    • Greet customers entering or leaving the store
    • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
    • Track transactions on balance sheets and report any discrepancies
    • Bag, box or gift-wrap packages
    • Handle merchandise returns and exchanges
    • Assist when and where needed Key Performance Indicators
    • Accurately ring up all purchases
    • Balance till at the end of the day or shift with the store manager
    • Always maintain a friendly demeanour
    • Build good relationships with clients and store staff
    • Build product knowledge
    • Maintain till area to a high standard
    • Packing and wrapping to required, specified standard
    • Efficient picking, transferring, completion of refunds and exchanges

    Requirements

    • Work experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar role.
    • Basic Computer literacy.
    • Basic Numeracy skills.
    • Strong communication and Interpersonal skills
    • Time management skills.
    • Customer satisfaction/ service oriented.

    Personal Assistant to CEO

    PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

    • We are looking for a versatile and highly-organized Personal Assistant to support our CEO in our fast paced environment.  
    • In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling meetings, making travel arrangements, coordinating guests and assisting with ad hoc duties as and when required.
    • This role is suited to a mature female who has worked in a similar role previously.
    • To ensure success as a personal assistant, you should exhibit excellent organizational skills and demonstrable experience in a secretarial role. Accomplished personal assistants are intuitive to the needs of the managers and work autonomously to provide customized administrative support.

    RESPONSBILITIES:

    • Reporting to CEO and co-ordinating daily meetings.
    • Typing, formatting, and editing reports, documents, and presentations.
    • Entering data, maintaining databases, and keeping records.
    • Liaising with internal departments, answering calls, and making travel arrangements.
    • Managing internal and external correspondence on behalf of senior management.
    • Scheduling appointments, maintaining an events calendar, and sending reminders.
    • Copying, scanning, and faxing documents, as well as taking notes.
    • Preparing facilities for scheduled events and arranging refreshments, if required.
    • Ordering office supplies and replacements, as well as managing mail and courier services.

    Requirements

    • High school diploma or GED.

    Picker/Packer(s) - Richmond Park CPT (Milnertin/Century City)

    Description

    What we are looking for:

    • We are looking to hire energetic picker/packers to assist us in our Warehouse in Richmond Park, Cape Town.
    • The recruits will utilize requisitions and order sheets to pick a wide variety of items, place and arrange items in bins following specific instructions.
    • The picker will check stock received for damage, and confirm correct items and quantities are selected.
    • You will perform duties in accordance with standard operating instructions and ensure inbound and outbound orders are correct and defect-free.

    • Assist with appropriated wrapping, and securing with stretch wrap, shrink wrap and strapping.
    • Loading and unloading trucks.
    • Ensuring work areas are kept clean, neat and well-organized.
    • Complying with Occupational Health and Safety and other safety regulations.

    Requirements

    • Matric or equivalent.
    • 1+ years’ work experience in the same or similar role.
    • Excellent verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work harmoniously with diverse range of people.
    • Proficient with using tools required for this position.
    • Physically agile and dexterous.
    • Proficient organizational skills.
