Minimum Requirements
National Technical Diploma in Design drafting or equivalent.
Knowledge of drafting standards and creating bill of materials
Mechanical and structural design (3-5 years) in a manufacturing environment;
Computer drawing software (3 years), SolidWorks preferred
Experience in producing structural and mechanical manufacturing drawings;
Projects qualification and experience will be an advantage;
Quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into design

Attention to detail is vital.

Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to the following):
Prepare technical models and drawings for structures and mechanical equipment in CAD, both 2D and 3D
Design of structures and mechanical equipment used in the mining industry
Occasional travel to job sites to measure existing structures.
Transform concepts into working designs
Manage and co-ordinate contract draughtsman and structural engineer
Manage and co-ordinate engineering projects when required;
The candidate must be medically fit in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Company’s standards for medical fitness.
Minimum Requirements
BEng/BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar/relevant);
More than 2 years’ experience on mining engineering projects, looking to move into project management;
Willing to travel to our Afrimat sites;
Have own vehicle and driver’s license;
Fast learner with a self-driven attitude;
Experience in Mining/Quarry material handling plants.
The candidate must be medically fit in terms the Mine Health and Safety Act.
Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to the following):
Project management may include, but not limited to,
Complete Feasibility studies + motivate projects
Include Payback Period + Internal Rate of Return on Projects
Identifying & Scoping, Scheduling and Preparing Project Budgets,
Manage and execute projects within Afrimat
Project planning
Assembling and leading a Project Team
Assist with engineering team decision making
Time, Resource & Contractor and Risk Management
Monitor progress
Cost control
Stakeholder Management
Basic Contracts Management
Attend and sign off on Factory Acceptance Tests
Oversee site installations
Commissioning of new installations
Attend site meetings
Minimum Requirements
Fluent in English (read & write).
Grade 12, ideally backed by a qualification in Accounting.
1 to 2 years’ experience as a Debtors Clerk.
Basic administrative & computer skills.
Willingness to work overtime in order to meet deadlines.
Duties and responsibilities
Ensure timely and accurate collections.
Control debtors.
Prepare for, and assist with audits.
Prepare Report.
Execute all agreed projects and/ or carry out ad hoc assignments.

5 – 10 years’ experience in operating mobile crushing plants, preferably with operations in an open pit mine.
Candidates must be situated in Kuruman, Olifantshoek, Postmasburg and neighbouring areas.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and keep in balance multiple demands.
Critical thinking skills with the ability to make good decisions under pressure.
Ability to safely work day and night shifts on a rotational basis.
Duties and responsibilities (but not limited to the following):
Maintain good housekeeping on site.
Ensure that safety standards are adhered to (i.e. lock out procedures are followed, employees wear their PPE and work safely).
Ensure that the work area, tools / equipment are ready for the day’s production.
Execute daily tasks as instructed and understand the quality standards for the tasks.
Oversee production and projects through to completion.
Supervise Operators and General Workers.
Investigate if the targets are not reached.
Manage individual and team performance, coach and develop staff.

Grade 12.
At least 3 years relevant working experience in the construction industry.
A valid driver’s license.

Duties and responsibilities
Ensuring that proper mix design and job specifications are followed.
Coordinating raw material orders.
Maintaining specified inventory levels on all materials.
Performing general maintenance on plant equipment and facilities as needed.
Responsible for all monies received.
Adhering to returned concrete policy.
Evaluating, overseeing, and managing all aspects of Dispatch Operations.
Evaluating, monitoring, and coaching personnel supervised.
Managing the workforce assigned to their plant daily.
Maintaining and upholding Health and Safety systems and procedures on site.
Directing work at plant locations and job sites.
Reviewing clocking system, act on, and where appropriate, approve payroll claims.
Attendance and on-time monitoring.
Completing all paperwork and reports required by the company.
Controlling expenditures and maximize profits for the plant.
Adhering to and positively communicate all company policies.
Assuring compliance with all safety rules & regulations.
Performing and recording product testing as required on a daily basis.
Routinely inspect vehicles and equipment - report repair priorities.
