- Ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being put into machine

- Assist the Production Manager / Process Technicians in implementing required training for Machine Operators
- Support Production activities
- Participate in Tool Design Reviews and recommend improvements to optimize moulding, setup, and overall manufacturing
- Analyse and improve existing processes using production data, design of experiments, Six Sigma and other methods to improve manufacturing processes for cost reduction, quality improvement to increase efficiencies
- Troubleshoot moulding and manufacturing processes and material issues. Work with internal and external resources to resolve moulding and manufacturing issues and implement long-term solutions
- Research, develop and implement manufacturing process controls, machinery modifications and improvements
- Ensure good housekeeping practices are consistently followed
- Ensure Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
- Responsible for reporting potential Food Safety hazards and comply with the food safety management system requirements

- Technical Qualification with min. 5 years plastics processing experience

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General Administration
- Support all departments with administration where necessary (Filing, reporting etc.)
Payroll and HR Coordination:
- Ensuring confidentiality, facilitate the flow of information from the operations team to the outsourced payroll team. Ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Handle payroll-related queries and escalate issues to the payroll administrator when necessary.
- Maintain and update confidential employee records (Digital and hard copy)
- Assist in recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews.
- Schedule and facilitate onboarding activities.
- Coordinate and support training sessions, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives.
- Maintain the monthly leave records
- Act as a point of contact for basic HR-related concerns, including medical aid and retirement benefit queries.
- Act as point of contact, escalating complex issues to HR as needed.
Customer Service, CTO and Plant Admin Support:
- Review and capture sales orders on the relevant systems.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate purchase orders.
- Assist with invoicing and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication.
- Oversee the accurate reporting of data in organizational systems.
- Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Identify and address inefficiencies in administrative processes.

- Minimum Matric with a relevant tertiary qualification (diploma or degree)
- Proven experience in an administrative role,
