What you will enjoy doing

MAIN PURPOSE:

• To ensure proper sorting, washing and preparing (building) of packing for production on a daily basis.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for daily sorting and cleaning(wash) of all returnable packing
• Ensuring all labels and foreign objects is removed from packaging before issued to production.
• Visual quality checks for damages on all packaging
• Utilise diverse packaging equipment (e.g., case erector, partition inserter, top sealer etc.)
• Utilise diverse tools/equipment such as Pressure cleaner and Heat gun.
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and following health and safety instructions
• Responsible to report any risks identified for Quality and Food Safety Management where food contact product is produced in the plant.
• Ensure on-going awareness of Quality, Food Safety, Environmental and Health and Safety Management
• Ensure housekeeping and general areas facilitates a tidy, neat Environment.
• Be able to perform other AD-HOC duties as and when required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Matric certificate will be required.
• Forklift License required.
• Min. 6 months of working in a manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must have flexible work availability.
• High cleanliness standards for the machines and work area.
• Able to work with multiple types of equipment simultaneously.
