    Wholesale Customer Service Coordinator

    Summary

    • The successful candidate will need to provide excellent customer (Wholesale) service, capturing orders, resolving telephonic and email queries, exploring opportunities to increase sales and tracking orders with the aim of developing new and maintaining good relationships with agents, wholesale and retail customers.

    Customer Communication

    • Customer Queries (Inbox and Telephonic)
    • Clear communication with customers on late deliveries, stock availability and short shipments
    • Upselling based on ATS if we do not have stock of a particular style
    • Assist Visual Merchandiser with queries, stock transfers etc.

    Order Management & Processing

    • Forward Sales Order Entries - accurate and within the given deadline
    • Update sales orders with confirmed delivery dates
    • Ensure VAS details are correct, up to date at DSV and executed in full
    • VAS ticket ordering - well in advance
    • Returns based on line manager approval - executed and followed through till credit passed
    • Agent and House account report monthly on Open Orders vs Purchase orders
    • Customer purchase order details on relevant sales orders

    Reports

    • Returns Report
    • AR Report - CS execution based on Finance comments
    • Daily tracking of Invoice + Integrated Order to DSV vs Monthly target
    • Monthly open sales order report to all agents

    Returns

    • Process Returns and pass credits within SLA

    Planner (Wholesale) - Vans South Africa

    Job Description: Vans Wholesale Planner

    • Our growing company is searching for candidates for the position of wholesale planner. Key responsibility include building and managing all processes related to wholesale demand planning, with specific focus on purchase orders and inventory management.

    To join our growing team, please review the list of responsibilities:

    Planning Strategy

    • Understand the business strategy and assist in developing product strategies by channel, as well as range building in line with the business vision.
    • Develop an integrated planning process that deals with customer demand, upselling opportunities in high demand end uses, EOL & stock to management in accordance with budgeted guidance (OTB), to consume against future seasons.
    • Formulate a forward-looking sales plan by account.
    • Manage the Open Order Report (OOR) in collaboration with Wholesale Key Accounts Managers to ensure that stock is procured accurately and timeously from the global supply.

    Operational Partnerships

    • Assist buying department and account managers with information needed for the buying process.
    • Ensure that buy-plans are well detailed and clearly understood by team members and relevant stakeholders.
    • Build relationships with the key wholesale customers to ensure regular sell through feedback and in turn help them manage optimum stock levels in store to maximise sales.
    • Manage merchandise, supply chain and logistics aspect of wholesale
    • Measure stock wholesale OB uptake

    Order Management

    • Create and manage purchase orders + requisitions
    • Alert Planning Manager and Sales Team of issues by size/colour on late shipments, impacting order fulfilment
    • Proactively identify and monitor trends in the Wholesale business

    Reporting and Forecasting

    • Analyse sales and stock performance by style, product class, brand and attribute groupings
    • Ownership of weekly selling reports for retail accounts
    • Track in season sell-through performance by product and retailer
    • Replenishment Forecasts – Manage R and unit monthly replenishment forecasts
    • Create product level sales and inventory buy plans, by category and customer, including sell-through targets and retail inventory performance implications

    Requirements

    • Relevant qualification
    • 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Stores experience will be an advantage
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Strong administration skills
    • Intermediary excel knowledge of pivots and formulas
    • Highly numerate and able to deal with large volumes of data
    • Organized and deadline driven with exceptional attention to detail

    Junior Buyer - Birkenstock

    Job Summary

    • The Junior Buyer is in charge of choosing products that will be sold in South Africa. With a given budget, the Junior Buyer is tasked with picking products for the store based on the demand and the trends in the industry.

    Key Responsibilities

    Buying Strategy

    • Attend brand seasonal sales meetings and other relevant travel requirements. Select from the pre-existing range, making intuitive selections that suit the SA customer, so optimums are achieved alongside other developing.
    • Become and remain the regional subject matter expert in terms of product features, specifications, and categorisation.
    • Establish shipment plan and identify consolidation opportunities for cost reduction based on OOR reconciliation.
    • Understand the current wholesale and retail strategy and make recommendations in developing product strategies and range building in line with the business vision.
    • Maintain strong awareness of the commercial potential of product in the market from a price point of view and assist in developing appropriate pricing structures.
    • Assist Planner in identifying sales patterns for future seasons and place forecasts and orders for the SA market.

    Operational Partnerships

    • Manage the delivery of samples to Head Office as necessary maintaining responsibility for this inventory until signed over to the relevant merchant.
    • Work with marketing, sales, and Planner to set up promotions to drive underperformers to clear stock.
    • Conduct sell-ins promoting new, fresh product to Retail and Wholesale clients.
    • With the sales and marketing functions, manage the full GTM sales process from planning, co-ordinating and developing sales tools that directly support the sell-in process for both existing and new accounts (catalogues, pricelist lists, order forms, delivery dates, showroom prep, catering, trade marketing support)
    • Review previous season merchandise with Planner to identify possible reasons for success or non-performance and note for future reference.
    • Ensure optimal samples are selected that are applicable to the South African market.
    • Ensure that buy-plans are well detailed and clearly understood by team members and relevant stakeholders.
    • Meet range development deadlines in order to ensure supplier deadlines are met.
    • Manage Stock levels in line with orders!
    • Assist Retail Ops team in the opening of new Brand House stores with specific focus on stock planning.
    • Ensure along with Visual Merchandiser and Retail manager that product is displayed in all stores according to brand Standards.
    • Ensure accurate requested ship dates to ease cash flow pressures.

     Reporting and Analytics

    • Develop and continually evaluate all reports in order to monitor stock arrival in SA, sales, history, seasonal sales analysis, aged inventory etc.
    • Report on inventory tracker and forecasting report
    • Feedback market trend information to the team and suggest best merchandising practice to maximise turnover.
    • Assist in the mapping and architecture of the IT system for order management, logistical support, buying, point of sale, order tracking and Bl tools etc.
    • Develop and continually evaluate all reports in order to establish sales history, seasonal sales analysis, aged inventory & liquidation plans etc.
    • Review relevant historical information and make recommendations to management and Wholesale customers for product segmentation in stores.
    • Build and manage a consumption tool to react early to plan across channels.

    Requirements:

    • Relevant Degree (BCom) or related Diploma in Retail Management/Planning/Supply Chain/Merchandise Management
    • 3 - 5 years’ experience in a similar role
    • Knowledge of an ERP system

    Critical Competencies:

    • Strategic agility and able to articulate the vision and purpose.
    • Ability and experience in managing a dynamic, diverse, and decentralised team.
    • Advanced Excel skills
    • Highly numerate, analytical, and detailed orientated
