Major responsibilities:
- Since saving lives is our job, safety is to be given top priority to achieve zero accidents.
- Overall responsible for the assembly operation.
- Maintain and improve on the highest level of housekeeping (5S).
- Promote the zero-defect culture whereby all lines have a minimum of 15 days zero defects and no defects are sent to our customers.
- Constantly improve productivity by eliminating lost time and using resources efficiently.
- Identify bottlenecks and manage them effectively.
- Motivate all subordinates to achieving Company's KPI’s, goals and objectives according to our Policy Deployment.
- Utilizing Root Cause Analysis to eliminate abnormalities.
- Inspire motivation to achieve autonomy in delivering results.
- Consistent discipline to standards.
Minimum requirements:

- A tertiary education in Industrial Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 - 10 years’ experience in a similar position in a manufacturing environment.
- Between the ages of 25 - 40.
- Previous experience in the Motor industry is an advantage.

- Must be a team player.
- Must be self-disciplined and have the ability to discipline to standards.

Qualifications:
- A Logistics qualification would be beneficial.
- At least 3 years in a similar function.
- SAP experience is mandatory.
- It would be desirable to have good negotiating and technical skills.
- Microsoft office skills, advanced excel & PowerPoint skills will be beneficial.
Duties:
- Fully responsible for the satisfaction of various customers.
- Ensure that stock quantities are maintained at the correct level via SAP.
- Deliver product on time in full (OTIF) and in sequence according to the customer requirements.
- Make recommendations for improvements and cost reductions.
- Monitor the daily performance of customers and internal assembly process.
