    Business Development Manager - Corporate AV - Gauteng

    AVT Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to be based in Gauteng, to lead the growth nationally through proactive customer engagement.

    Job Description:

    AVT Solutions, a division of Seartec Trading, is currently recruiting for a Digital Signage Business Development Manager that can amplify its reputation throughout the Southern African area. Candidate should be able to hunt for new business within enterprise and small to medium business targets across multiple markets and develop new client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for prospecting and developing relationships with c-level purchasing executives in order to market and sell digital signage equipment and accessories.

    • Implements a top-down digital signage sales approach targeting CEOs, CFOs, procurement, marketing, and facilities directors to convert prospects into clients.

    • Supplies product information to selected customers in an assigned territory and/or arranges for business analyses of customer’s business communication requirements and develops benchmark demonstrations proposals and value propositions that exceed customers’ requirements resulting in the development of new customers and retention of existing accounts.

    • Acts as the primary point of contact for all digital signage sales paperwork for customer orders.

    • Works closely with Seartec sales representatives to identify digital signage opportunities within current Seartec customer base.

    • Promotes digital signage products and represent company at off-site customer meetings, trade shows and conferences.

    • Maintains records of all account activity within sales database.

    • Identifies contacts in accounts and conducts strategic calls.

    • Serves as first line of contact with digital signage customers.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum of at least 2 years’ successful sales history and close rate, financial modeling and business forecasting experience.

    • Team player, time management and problem-solving skills.

    • Must be proficient in performing business and account analysis.

    • Strong creative vision relative to digital signage.

    • A strong background in developing technical solutions that meet customer needs.

    • Strong understanding of display solutions.

    • Team player with ability to coordinate efforts with sales reps to sell.

    • Strong computer skills with current technical knowledge.

    • Solid interpersonal skills in order to close deals and make presentations.

    Technical Manager - Corporate AV

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Set and monitor achievement of goals for the region.
    • Provide training to staff in regard to technical operations and policies.
    • Remain on the forefront of emerging industry practices.
    • Schedule, supervise, and motivate branch staff in an effort to maintain optimal customer service satisfaction levels.
    • Assist in evaluating staff’s work performance by helping to prepare and deliver annual reviews and performing coaching sessions. Recommend training where needed.
    • Manage the development of the team by ensuring that project tasks are in line with each member’s career interests when possible.
    • Monitor the quality of customer service and ensure that employees are maximizing opportunities to improve and sell service offerings.
    • Work with the sales team to provide technical direction for the development, design, and integration of systems from client engagement through to implementation.

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
    • 5 years’ minimum experience in architecting, designing and developing products or system.
    • Knowledge in software and utilization of industry platforms.
    • Project Management skills.
    • Attention to details is expected.
    • Excellence in written, oral communication, and presentation skills.

    Ability to work within a team.

    Digital Signage Solutions Architect

    Job Description

    AVT Solutions is seeking a Digital Signage Solutions Architect to be based in Cape Town.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Architect and design vertical business solutions utilizing different Sharp and NEC products and integrations with partners’ products.
    • Work with Business and Sales Teams on identifying solutions to meet market.
    • Work with Customers and Industry Partners in project scope, requirement gathering, and development proposal.
    • Work closely with Project Management and Quality Assurance to drive the development of release plans and specifications
    • Seek understanding of goals of cross-organizational team members to help drive project success.
    • Document designs and requirements including functional diagrams and flow charts.
    • Provide training to staff when required. Training to include updated features of DS Software used, integration of DS Software/Hardware and external sources.
    • Spearhead Research and Development on the latest Digital Signage trends (Current and Future).

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, computer engineering, electrical Engineering or equivalent; Master’s degree is a plus.
    • 3 years’ minimum experience in architecting, designing and developing products or system.
    • Knowledge in software and utilization of industry platforms.
    • Strong knowledge of Digital Signage, self-service platform and connected solutions through various IoT platforms.
    • Experience in mobile and web applications a plus.
    • Project Management skills.
    • Attention to details is expected.
    • Excellence in written, oral communication, and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work within a team.
    • Must work quickly, creatively, and decisively, delivering solutions on time and according to specification.
