    Senior Full-Stack Engineer (AI Products) | On-site | George WC

    About you

    • You’re an experienced full-stack engineer who has already shipped AI-powered products into production.
    • You understand that building for AI is different. You’ve worked with non-deterministic systems, handled variable latency, and designed experiences that gracefully manage failure, partial responses, and uncertainty.

    You’re confident across the stack:

    • Modern frontend frameworks (React or similar)
    • Backend/API development (Node.js, Python, or similar)
    • REST/GraphQL APIs at scale
    • Secure, compliant data handling in regulated environments
    • You’ve built systems where reliability, security, and control matter, including authentication, validation, and enforcing boundaries at the API layer (not relying on the model to behave).
    • You’re also comfortable owning the full lifecycle: from design and development to CI/CD and deployment.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating shipped production AI work
    • 5+ years’ experience in full-stack software engineering roles
    • Demonstrated experience shipping user-facing AI or LLM-powered products into production environments

    Mid-Level Business Analyst (AI Product Delivery)

    What a Typical Day Looks Like

    • Map real business processes and design improved, AI-enabled workflows
    • Own requirements end-to-end, from discovery through to delivery and acceptance
    • Write Product Requirement Documents that specify inputs, outputs, acceptable behaviour ranges, and the human's role in the loop, not just features
    • Translate executive vision into structured, build-ready specifications
    • Use data to validate assumptions and challenge what you are told
    • Define edge cases, failure modes, and escalation paths as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts
    • Run structured discovery sessions and facilitate workshops to resolve conflicting stakeholder priorities

    This is not a documentation role. It is a thinking role.

    About You

    You are comfortable operating without a script. You take a vague brief, structure it, and produce something engineers can build from. You actually prefer working this way.

    You will need to

    • Have 3+ years of experience as a Business or Systems Analyst, owning delivery from discovery to implementation
    • Build structured process maps (BPMN, UML, or similar) without guidance
    • Have worked in Agile environments: sprint participation, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives
    • Write user stories, functional specs, or PRDs you would be prepared to defend at interview
    • Query and interpret data (SQL, Excel, or BI tools) to validate requirements and challenge assumptions
    • Prioritise work using structured frameworks (MoSCoW or equivalent) and maintain traceability across the requirement lifecycle
    • Run workshops, challenge stakeholders, and navigate conflicting priorities within a department

    You will stand out if you

    • Have written PRDs or functional specifications for products where the output was non-deterministic or required human review: customer-facing automation, recommendation features, or decision-support tools all count
    • Understand how to design for uncertainty, including specifying what happens when the AI gets it wrong, not only when it gets it right
    • Have experience in regulated environments: insurance, finance, or healthcare

    Agency Leadership & Commercial Ownership

    • Lead Honeyguide as a standalone business unit with full P&L accountability, including budgeting, cost management, and financial performance
    • Design and implement a scalable agency operating model (services, pricing, SLAs, workflows, and resourcing)
    • Drive efficiency, utilisation, and margin improvement
    • Position Honeyguide as a trusted, high-value partner to internal stakeholders

    Growth Strategy & Value Creation

    • Develop and execute a growth strategy aligned to group commercial priorities
    • Identify opportunities to scale services across brands and reduce duplication
    • Partner with executive leadership to ensure marketing contributes to revenue growth and customer value
    • Continuously evolve the agency’s offering in line with market trends and business needs

    Client (Brand) Performance & Stakeholder Management

    • Own performance and satisfaction across all brands serviced by Honeyguide
    • Implement clear engagement models, feedback loops, and service standards
    • Ensure marketing drives measurable outcomes across brand health, acquisition, retention, and CX
    • Act as a senior escalation point, building strong stakeholder relationships

    Marketing & Creative Excellence

    • Ensure delivery of high-quality, insight-led, commercially effective marketing
    • Set standards for creative excellence, brand consistency, and integrated campaigns
    • Guide senior marketing leaders in translating strategy into impactful execution
    • Balance strategic oversight with empowered delivery teams

    Digital, Data & AI Enablement

    • Integrate data, automation, and AI into agency operations and outputs
    • Build capabilities for measurement, attribution, and performance optimisation
    • Enable real-time insights and predictive decision-making
    • Align technology investments with commercial outcomes and efficiency gains

    Capability Building & Culture

    • Build and lead a high-performing leadership team
    • Define structures, roles, and career pathways to support scale
    • Foster a culture of accountability, creativity, and continuous improvement
    • Attract, develop, and retain top marketing and agency talent

    Governance & Operational Excellence

    • Establish robust processes, reporting frameworks, and performance dashboards
    • Ensure compliance with data governance, brand standards, and regulations
    • Implement best practices in agency operations and delivery management

    Skills, Experience & Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
    • Extensive senior leadership experience within a marketing agency or agency-style environment (internal or external)
    • Proven track record with P&L ownership and commercial accountability
    • Experience building or scaling teams, operating models, and structures in complex organisations
    • Strong background in data-driven marketing, digital channels, and performance marketing
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with commercial, product, technology, and data teams

    Advantageous:

    • Postgraduate qualification
    • Experience leading transformation or building internal agencies
