    Maintenance Apprentice - Maintenance Department

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assist in conducting regular inspection of all electrical, mechanical and other equipment of a facility
    • Assist in repairs and other maintenance related duties, as tasked by Artisan or management
    • Ensure all tools are kept neat, cleaned after use and stored safely
    • Complying with the industry standards and safety regulations
    • Completing all tasks as delegated by the supervising authority
    • Efficiently managing time and meeting all specified deadlines
    • Ensure housekeeping of work area
    • Perform any work-related task as delegated by your superior

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or equivalent or a qualification from a certified Technical College.
    • Brights Induction (Service Excellence).
    • 1 year experience in a similar role(preferred).
    • Understand the units and the systems of the facility.
    • Must be a good team worker and have the knack of coordinating work with fellow workers.
    • Ability to effectively manage time and meet all specified deadlines.

    Cash Officer - Frontline Department

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Responsible for daily cash ups of all cashier floats
    • Investigate and report all cash up and banking discrepancies to Supervisor
    • Oversee and maintain change requirements and the monitoring of the change safe
    • Regulate customer accounts, order trails, debtors, and cash & transit
    • Collect money for ATM machine
    • Complete Nedbank ATM report and ATM log sheet
    • Send end of day, cash withdrawals slips & month-end report to Admin dept. at the end of every month
    • Check audit trails
    • Record any till discrepancies in shorts/overs book and submit to departmental supervisor
    • Monitor and record weekly and monthly reports and submit to departmental supervisor
    • Relieve cashiers & operations supervisors if and when required
    • Manage cashiers lunch & tea breaks at front end
    • Provide full training for cashiers
    • Process EFT payments
    • Make sure CGS(cheque guarantee service) is valid and make necessary changes when required
    • Issuing gift cards, check customer reward cards and cash in points
    • Processing of refunds/credits
    • Direct customer to next available till, ensuring efficient process
    • Implement and enforce all cashier and frontline policies
    • Manage daily register and time and attendance
    • Check cashier statistics for cashing up (shorts/overs)
    • Ensure housekeeping of work area
    • Participate in perpetual stock takes
    • Perform any work related tasks as delegated by superior

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Matric or Equivalent
    • 3 Years Cashier experience
    • 2 Year Operational Till Clerk
    • Good customer service skills
    • Ability to communicate effectively
    • High attention to detail
    • Excellent numerical skills
    • Must possess the analytical math skills
    • Integrity
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team

    Receptionist - Frontline Department

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Open switchboard and general receptionist duties
    • Answering the telephone, direct all calls to the relevant person/department and taking messages
    • Provide secretarial support
    • Maintain an adequate inventory of office supplies
    • Manage the distribution of stuff stationery
    • Record all emailed transfers and stock orders in log book for branches and inter-branch
    • Maintain a general filing system for all correspondence (emails, faxes, & quotes)
    • Manage diesel cards
    • Be aware of Managers and staff who are on lunch, leave, and sick leave and report on schedule sheet
    • Manage coffee machine and hand out coffee machine coins to stuff
