    Allocator - Old Khaki

    Job Description

    • An opportunity has become available at our Head Office (Cape Town) within Old Khaki for a Allocator specifically in the Accessories and Footwear Department with additional planning responsibilities.
    • Our ideal candidate should possess strong analytical, logical reasoning and numerical abilities. The successful candidate will have the ability to align with the company vision, be self-motivated and actively involved in the planning process in the applicable area of responsibility. In addition, the successful candidate should have the high energy levels, resilience and confidence required for this fast-paced, exciting, and dynamic retail environment.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Implement the Allocation strategy according to store turnover and profile
    • Ensure allocations are done effectively based on trade and store performance
    • Analytical support and feedback to influence the Planning and Buying teams
    • Store and merchandise-related (style and sizing) analysis
    • Reporting and recommendations regarding store performance – this role plays a crucial link between stores and the merchandise team
    • Replenishment management
    • Monitoring product performance to take appropriate action
    • Regular store visits where appropriate
    • Contribute to achieving Turnover, GP & Stock budgets and other KPI’s
    • Post Seasonal analysis, Strategic Planning, Range & Assortment Planning
    • Budgeting and forecasting to maximize sales and profitability
    • Stock control and distribution whereby you ensure that the product assortments, volumes, and store & product attributes are maximized.
    • Liaising effectively with stores, suppliers, customers, shipping, and marketing

    Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications Required

    • 1-2 years experience as a Allocator/ Store Planner within a retail environment
    • Matric & Graduate qualification in a related field
    • Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced Excel
    • Reporting systems
    • Proficiency in Enterprise Planning would be beneficial
    • A high degree of numeracy and a detailed and strategic approach to work

    Job Description

    • We’re looking for a detail-driven and commercially minded eCommerce Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of product data quality and on-site content, ensuring copy is accurate, optimised for SEO, and aligned with brand messaging. From product naming to homepage updates, you’ll play a key role in enhancing the customer journey and driving performance across our digital channels.

    Key Duties

    • Create accurate, engaging & SEO-optimised product copy across a range of categories
    • Maintain consistency in product naming conventions and attributes to support search and filtering
    • Ensure completeness and accuracy of product information through cross-functional collaboration

    Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications

    • Understanding of SEO and eCommerce copywriting best practices
    • Experience with eCommerce platforms & Google Analytics
    • Knowledge of digital marketing channels such as PPC, SEO, display & affiliate marketing
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (specifically MS Excel)
    • Domain knowledge in eCommerce, retail, online advertising and/or analytics
