• Our client is seeking a Finance Operations Clerk to join our Financial Controller team on a one-year contract. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operational finance environment. Our finance function is a critical driver of our global operations.
• You will support the Financial Controllers in managing the day-to-day financial activities of international shipments, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution in a high-volume environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receipt of cash and bank reconciliation
• Processing supplier invoices
• Management of debtors and processing of payments
• Management of shipments from a finance perspective
• Assisting with shipment-related financial administration
• Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
• Supporting the wider finance and operations teams as transaction volumes grow

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/BCom, or related field
• Good High School Results ( >65% for Mathematics)

Job Description

• The Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible to help meet the ultimate goals of supporting increasing volumes and providing amazing client experience by researching new products being shipped by clients, sourcing documents, or assisting with database management projects. You will be expected to provide a support function on day-to-today shipments, supporting the Service Team by providing accurate Product and Compliance data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Trade Compliance Specialist will be responsible for:

• Researching and obtaining an understanding of customs compliance requirements for products shipped by our clients for the export, import and transportation.
• Working on product research for new signed clients.
• Working with the Operations and Service team in order to apply compliance requirements to live shipments.
• Responsible for keeping our Product Compliance data-base up to date.
• Calculation and review of forecast duties and taxes
• Become an expert in the import and export compliance requirements of specific regions
• Managing supplier relationships across our global network
• Checking supplier compliance capabilities and costings

SKILL SET AND DESIRED COMPETENCIES

• Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Excellent use of the English language, both written and verbal
• Maintain effective daily communication with relevant team members.

Role Overview

• The Client Success Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with our clients by creating the best, customised import solution of clients in various industries. 
• They will be responsible for forming trusting relationships with clients and having oversight of all account activities, sorting out issues and pricing deals presented to us in a way that will allow our clients to win the deals for themselves.  This person's role will be to "wow" newly signed clients.

The Client Success Manager will be responsible for the following:

• Making strategic decisions with clients
• Making pricing decisions on clients' projects
• Responsible for resolving any issues arising from our service team
• Utilising client relationships to upsell and grow revenue from clients by selling them new products and introducing them to new opportunities.
