    Admin Assistant Retail - iStore Stellenbosch Cape Town

    Job Description

    • iStore is the home of everything Apple, and Africa’s largest Apple Premium Reseller.
    • With a retail footprint of more than 30 physical and online stores across Africa that provide expert advice, Apple Authorised Repairs, Business, Education, training and technical support for anything and everything Apple.
    • As an iStore Admin Assistant, you will support and assist the Admin/Operations Manager in the iStore with stock control and asset management, etc to minimise risk. You will provide support in ensuring that all iStore policies, processes, and standard operating procedures (SOP’s) are adhered to.

    You need to have:

    • A Completed Matric (Tertiary Qualification would be advantageous)
    • 1+ years admin experience in a retail environment or a degree
    • 2+ years admin experience in a different industry

    Buyers Administrator - iStore

    Overview

    • We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Buyers Administrator to join our dynamic buying team.
    • This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of admin experience who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, has a proactive, positive attitude, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves.
    • We need a go-getter — someone who takes initiative, thinks ahead, and gets things done without being asked. In addition to administrative tasks, you will also be required to assist with physical duties such as carrying boxes and reorganizing storage rooms as needed.
    • The Buyers Administrator plays a key role in supporting the buying function — from managing product data and warehouse orders to helping prepare reports, marketing material, and compliance documentation. The ideal candidate must be strong in Excel, confident in communication, and able to stay on top of multiple deadlines.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage and maintain accurate product listings across internal systems.
    • Assist buyers in capturing key details for new products and ensuring all specs are up to date.
    • Process and follow up on product orders from the warehouse.
    • Liaise with warehouse and supply chain to track stock movement and ensure order accuracy.
    • Assist in compiling product information for marketing use (briefs, promotional material, etc.).
    • Coordinate monthly range reviews by preparing required documents and presentations (PowerPoint).
    • Work closely with marketing to ensure information is submitted accurately and on time.
    • Prepare and submit compliance documents for ICASA and NRCS certifications.
    • Track certification timelines and follow up with relevant stakeholders.
    • Ensure all product labelling meets compliance and warehouse standards.
    • Provide full admin support to the buying team — from scheduling to follow-ups and reporting.
    • Support with store visit coordination and ad-hoc tasks as required.
    • Own transport would be an advantage for occasional store visits.

    Requirements & Skills

    • Passed the South African National Senior Certificate (Matric) – Minimum Requirement
    • Any administrative courses
    • 1–2 years of administrative or buying support experience (retail experience is an advantage).
    • Strong Excel skills (including V-LOOK-UP), and comfortable with PowerPoint.
    • Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.
    • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
    • Professional, positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
    • Own reliable transport is advantageous but not essential
