    Ancillaries Coordinator - Cape Town

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    Effectively and efficiently coordinating the operations of the DA’s ancillary organisations by:

    • Overseeing the development and coordination of structures of each ancillary organisation
    • Working closely with the relevant ancillary leadership and the national campaign team to set up deliverables for general elections
    • Supporting and guiding ancillary organisations with administrative, campaign and compliance related matters
    • Acquiring a proper knowledge, expertise and understanding of rules, regulations and constitutions regarding ancillary organisations and internal processes

    Effectively and efficiently coordinating the functions relating to membership of the Party by:

    • Processing membership applications, in particular online membership
    • Distributing membership reports and renewal notices
    • Actively ensuring the smooth operation of membership administration

    Constituency Coordinator: Mopani West - Limpopo (Fixed term)

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Logistically supporting Party public representatives in their efforts to grow and keep DA support, advance the DA brand, properly run DA political structure and meet statutory obligations

    Requirements

    Minimum requirements:

    • Tertiary qualification (advantageous)
    • Relevant experience which may include the following roles: field worker, community liaison, project coordinator, operations coordinator, field-related sales, field-related customer service or election/campaign-related role
    • Project management experience
    • Financial management experience
    • Proficiency in at least one official language, in addition to English
    • Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily use
    • Computer literacy, particularly MS Office suite
    • Knowledge of, and/or residence in, the constituency (advantageous)

    Public Representative Performance Officer - Cape Town

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Professionalising and managing the process of Public Representative Performance Management for the DA
    • Providing guidance and input on Public Representative Performance Management training for stakeholders, including the design of training material
    • Interacting with Party structures at Provincial and Regional level by requesting and circulating information on the Public Representative Performance Management process
    • Monitoring the health of the database in consultation with the developers and any other relevant consultants
    • Managing helpdesk requests and technical queries, referring database system bugs and issues to the service providers for resolution, and ensuring they are addressed timeously
    • Maintaining a database and records of all PR Performance Management meetings in an organised manner
    • Extracting and compile reports, as required
    • Providing overall assistance with Public Representative Performance Management
