    Creative Services Team Lead

    This role focusses on supporting the delivery of the Africa market leadership strategy and business objectives through creative design that accurately reflects the firm’s brand and corporate identity. Africa Creative Services team is responsible for the design and production of proposals and marketing collateral that support our business objectives. The Creative Services team has its hub in Johannesburg with key spokes in major center across Africa. The Brand, Marketing & Communications team forms part of Accounts, Industries & Business Development.

    Your key responsibilities
    This role is mainly focused on developing concepts and implementing the creative design and layout of brochures, marketing collateral, proposals and other marketing material for internal and external distribution.

    To qualify for the role, you must have

    • Suitable technical training.

    Actuarial Manager

    Your key responsibilities 

    We’ll look to you to take a holistic approach to the role, developing your skills and knowledge in multiple areas. That means you won’t just be working on pensions or insurance. You’ll add value beyond what’s traditionally expected by modeling risk in multiples areas, including pricing and data analysis. You’re likely to spend most of your day working on your projects, with occasional direct meetings with clients to monitor and discuss progress. 

    Skills and attributes for success 

    • Identifying the key levers that impact solvency ratios and return on equity to optimize our clients’ capital position 
    • Modeling, documenting and preparing application files
    • Validating estimate models 
    • Providing audit support for Solvency II and statutory reporting, including sample tests on Life Technical Provisions, IAS 19 and Pension funds

    To qualify for the role, you must have:

    • 5+ years’ experience in the Life Insurance industry
    • Qualified/ Almost Qualified Actuary

    EY Private Global Entrepreneurship Operations & Enablement Manager

    The responsibilities of the role include supporting the Entrepreneurship team execute on projects, priorities and action plans to recognize, connect and engage with entrepreneurs in our global ecosystem, and collaborate across our collective entrepreneurial programs including EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY), EY World Entrepreneur Of The Year (WEOY), Entrepreneurial Winning Women (EWW), Ripples Impact Entrepreneurs, Entrepreneurs Access Network (EAN), Women Athletes Business Network (WABN) and Young Presidents Organization (YPO). The role also includes building relationships with entrepreneurs, working with Global Leaders on entrepreneurship programs and the transformation, budget planning, strategy, and future vision around best practices for an integrated entrepreneurship platform. 

    This is a varied role in a busy team and requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills who is confident, robust and able to succeed working under pressure. The role will involve working collaboratively with various stakeholders in the firm and closely with the EY Private leadership team as required. The candidate will also have exposure and direct access to our most valuable entrepreneurship Alumni.

    Your key responsibilities
    The role is primarily focused on supporting EY Entrepreneurship operations to ensure that projects run efficiently and effectively. Experience in project management/ planning/execution is key to this role, as is the ability to build strong and trusted relationships with key stakeholders to ensure business alignment and risk mitigation. The key responsibilities include: 

    • Understands and can clearly articulate and amplify the EY Entrepreneurship value proposition
    • Support the Entrepreneurship strategy and initiatives – measure and support their implementation, tracking and success through reporting.
    • Project Management of entrepreneurship initiatives activities including stakeholder management, managing deadlines, meeting minutes, status updates, etc.
    • Responsible for managing effective and streamlined communication solutions/technologies (i.e. the Entrepreneurship SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites) and collaborating with key stakeholders to collate, cascade and post content, and be proactive in managing and updating these channels
    • Embed DE&I into the ongoing operations and processes for Entrepreneurship to support an inclusive culture
    • Build a strong network and own relationships with key stakeholders to drive resourcing and support execution and delivery of strategy 
    • Collaborate with the firm’s and program’s key stakeholders (GCO, Global Procurement, Independence, Global IT etc.) to drive processes, guidance/policy and ensure independence 
    • Team with the EY Private Global Knowledge Leader to produce reports on market insights, trends, key alliances/competitors to support the development and progression of the Entrepreneurship strategy
    • Support the technology and data transformation agenda; including integration and collation of data for each program, as well as onboarding the right technology and tools for these programs to operate as a unified program. 
    • Provide budget support liaising with project leads, accounts team and leadership
    • Supports WEOY judging workstream, owns judging logistics and responsible for the timely delivery of cohesive and well written judging materials 
    • Provides support to the Entrepreneurship Leader on significant meetings, projects and ad-hoc matters as required

    To qualify for the role you must have

    • Minimum of 7-10 years’ work experience
    • Bachelors/University degree or equivalent work experience

    Senior Manager Cyber Security

    Job summary
    We are looking for a market facing experienced security professional, with substantial experience and the ability to deliver complex projects and identify, generate and deliver sales opportunities and develop and maintain client relationships at a senior level. Prior experience at senior manager level in information and cyber security is required as a minimum to apply for this role. A Big 4 background or comparable consulting experience is highly advantageous, although some of our strongest performers come directly from industry therefore candidates with excellent industry experience and demonstrable success leading transformation programmes and proven experience of leading cyber discussions at board level are also encouraged to apply.

    Key responsibilities

    To be a Senior Manager in our Cyber Security practice you will already be an experienced and qualified security practitioner. You will lead cyber security assessments and manage teams to deliver security strategy and transformation programmes. You will maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and be responsible for the quality of the final deliverables and reports. We will expect you to have market facing experience already as you will need to proactively identify opportunities, create and deliver high quality proposals to clients and convert these opportunities into sales.     Solution Architect Senior Manager - EPM

    Your key responsibilities 

    The successful applicant will grow, develop and lead business development activities and identify opportunities, leading proposals and bid teams and managing development and delivery of high-quality proposals.     • Significant hands-on – min 3 EPM end to end implementations.

    • Hands on exposure and experience to EPM programme delivery using the prevailing EPM cloud solutions (Oracle, Onestream, Adaptive Insights etc)

    • Extensive exposure to an EPM lifecycle (Planning, budgeting, forecast, Enterprise wide KPI & reporting framework, Profitability/cost analysis)

    To qualify for the role, you must have 

    • A first level university degree, 2:1 (or equivalent) or above is common but not compulsory
    • An accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACA, ACMA, ACCA) applied in a financial institution would be beneficial, but not essential
    • Technical and programme management certification, where relevant.
    • A minimum of 5 years working experience is required

    Data and Analytics - Manager: Data Management

    Job purpose:

    We are looking for a manager who can support us in building out our data management service offering. You will contribute technically and strategically to the Data and Analytics client engagements and internal projects. An important part of your role will be to actively establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
