    Principal Deal Originator – Mining & Critical Minerals

    • An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Principal Deal Originator to join a leading South African Development Finance Institution. This strategic role will focus on originating and developing bankable mining and critical minerals transactions across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • This position is ideal for a commercially astute professional with a strong background in mining finance, corporate finance, project finance or structured finance, coupled with exceptional stakeholder engagement and business development capabilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Identify, originate and develop investment opportunities within the mining and critical minerals sector.
    • Build and maintain strategic relationships with mining companies, investors, government stakeholders and industry partners.
    • Assess the commercial and financial viability of investment opportunities.
    • Structure innovative financing solutions for mining and mineral beneficiation projects.
    • Prepare and present investment proposals to executive and credit committees.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Relevant degree in Mining Engineering, Finance, Economics, Commerce, Business or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years' relevant experience in mining finance, project finance, corporate finance, structured finance or investment banking.
    • Demonstrated experience in deal origination and transaction execution within the mining or natural resources sector.
    • Proven ability to engage with executive leadership, boards and senior government stakeholders.
    • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
    • Experience working on transactions across Africa will be highly advantageous.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within Sub-Saharan Africa.

    • An exciting opportunity exists for two experienced Senior Investment Officers to join a leading South African Development Finance Institution. The successful incumbents will play a key role in the execution of complex infrastructure transactions across South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa.
    • We are looking for seasoned investment professionals with proven experience in originating, structuring and executing transactions within the infrastructure finance environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the execution of project finance, corporate finance and structured finance transactions.
    • Conduct comprehensive commercial, financial, technical and legal due diligence.
    • Assess the viability and bankability of investment opportunities.
    • Develop and analyse complex financial models.
    • Structure and negotiate financing solutions.

    Functional Head Infrastructure Development and Maintenance

    Job purpose:

    • The Functional Head of Infrastructure and Maintenance direct an organization's physical assets, operations, and facilities. The role ensures that all assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.

    Primary Functions

    • Develop and execute long-term infrastructure strategies aligned with organizational goals.
