    Senior Analyst, Compliance Quality Assurance - Crypto & Digital Assets

    Overview

    • The Global Compliance team at Mastercard maintains robust programs to meet regulatory obligations and uphold Mastercard’s high standards of integrity. Within Global Compliance, the Legal Compliance Risk Management (LCRM) team operates an independent Quality Assurance function, testing critical compliance processes for accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to Mastercard policies and regulatory requirements. These include customer onboarding, due diligence refreshes, transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and other key controls.
    • We are seeking a Senior Analyst, Compliance Quality Assurance - Crypto & Digital Assets to join the LCRM team.
    • In this role, you will evaluate the effectiveness of compliance controls, with a focus on digital asset and cryptocurrency-related risk areas. You will apply rigorous QA testing to assess whether controls supporting Mastercard’s digital asset products and third-party relationships are designed and operating effectively. This role is ideal for a compliance professional with strong QA or audit experience and both knowledge of and experience with digital asset financial crime compliance risks and controls.

    Role

    • Conduct QA reviews across financial crime and crypto/digital asset-related compliance processes.
    • Assess control design and effectiveness against Mastercard policies and regulatory standards.
    • Identify control gaps and recommend practical improvements.
    • Prepare concise QA documentation, reports, and workpapers.
    • Track remediation actions and monitor QA metrics to identify trends.
    • Apply compliance QA methodologies to assess emerging risks in digital asset products, services, and third-party relationships.
    • Contribute to the evolution of QA testing approaches by incorporating crypto-specific risk indicators, typologies, and control expectations.
    • Collaborate with Compliance teams to share findings and support enhancements.
    • Leverage AI tools and techniques to enhance QA testing efficiency, identify patterns, and drive continuous process improvements.
    • Support audits, exams, and inquiries with QA results and documentation.

    All About You

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; advanced degree or ACAMS certification preferred.
    • 3–5 years of experience in compliance, audit, or QA/testing roles.
    • Experience with AML, KYC/KYB, sanctions, or financial crime compliance controls.
    • Strong knowledge of BSA/AML, OFAC, and related regulatory standards.
    • Demonstrated understanding of crypto and digital asset compliance risks and controls; direct crypto compliance experience preferred.
    • Experience applying AI or automation tools to improve compliance testing processes, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and insight generation.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently.
    • Adaptable and eager to learn in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with data analysis, automation, or blockchain analytics tools, and familiarity with emerging technologies in digital assets and compliance is a plus.

    Manager, Products and Solutions - Johannesburg

    Manager, Products and Solutions

    • Develop and execute sales strategies in line with regional and country objectives, that achieve sales, revenue and profit objectives for MPGS, Brighterion, Simplify and other VAS solutions in Southern Africa
    • Provides Payment Gateway/Fraud solutions, online payments, eCommerce subject matter expertise and leverages MasterCard integrated solutions to drive sales and revenue goals

    • Strong account management experience - ability to understand customer and constituent needs, marketplace dynamics, industry trends and the competitive landscape.
    • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills - extensive experience in communicating in international environment at senior management level.

    Desirable capabilities:

    • Relevant tertiary qualifications with a strong track record in the payments industry and deep knowledge of consumer payments.
    • High preference for action - results driven and with a disciplined approach to deliver sales targets.
    • Strong relationship management skills - experience of managing multiple stakeholders in a multicultural environment, matrixed environment, across multiple geographic locations.

    Manager, Products and Solutions - Kenilworth

    Products and Solutions

    • The Customer Solutions Center is a new structure which enables Mastercard to develop better solutions & bundles for prioritized customer segments in markets.
    • It is the housing for all Mastercard capabilities in a geography, and it aims to drive Mastercard growth and revenue by creating and selling compelling data-driven, scalable needs-based solutions to new and existing customers by tapping into Mastercard’s extensive toolbox of products and services offerings.
    • Products and Solutions roles will support the Customer Solution Center Lead & Solution Architects to bring together existing MA capabilities, products and solutions in a holistic, bundled way to customers.
    • They also act as an expert for their products/solutions portfolio in their geography, to drive market enablement and support sales as well as acting as key interface with regional product teams to ensure an effective feedback loop.

    Key Responsibilities
    Act as an expert for their geography/solution portfolio:

    Vice President, Identity & Security, Africa Lead

    Role Purpose

    • This Vice President will lead the Africa regional Specialist Sales team for Mastercard’s Identity and Security portfolio. The VP will be accountable for new business, adoption, revenue growth, and operational excellence across both new logo acquisition and existing client expansion.

    Director, Specialist Sales - Mastercard Payment Gateway Service

    Overview

    • Mastercard Payment Gateway Services provides an end to end Omni-Channel gateway solution for merchants, payment facilitators and acquiring banks.
    • This Product manager role will be responsible for developing, commercial roll-out and scaling Mastercard Payment Gateway Services capability within Southern Africa.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Drive commercialization of the MPGS solution within Souther Africa markets

    Experiences

    • Strong product management background with a proven track record of defining product strategies, launching new products in the eCommerce domain gained through working with Tier 1 merchants, acquiring banks or Payment technology Providers.
    • An excellent knowledge of merchant payment acceptances solutions and Omni-Channel payments across key merchant industries such as retail, transit and hospitality.
    • A strong knowledge of merchant point of sale systems, payment terminal infrastructure and integration models required to build an end-to-end solution.
    • Extensive experience working on product launches in multiple market
