    Senior Professional Nurse - Theatre (Mpumalanga)

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • The Senior Professional Nurse supports the Unit Manager in ensuring a safe and positive client experience by mitigating clinical risks and co-ordinating care delivery. They further provide direct patient care, as well as mentorship to new and student nurses in the unit.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Ensure comprehensive and safe patient care by mitigating risks and meeting set clinical quality standards
    • Manage the client experience
    • Ensure optimal supply, retention, and utilisation of staffing resources
    • Empower and build staff competence through continuous assessment and development
    • Assist with the effective management of operational expenses (including stock and capital)

    Unit Manager - Gynaecology & Urology

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • The Unit Manager manages a specific nursing unit, e.g. a surgical ward, to ensure safe patient care and a positive client experience. They further manage human and other resources to ensure that staff are engaged and processes are optimised.

    Client Experience Manager

    MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

    • The Client Experience Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve the overall experience of clients, including patients, their families, and visitors. This role ensures that all client experience functions within the hospital are carried out effectively to enhance optimal satisfaction while also contributing to the Mediclinic brand's reputation.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS

    • Utilise client experience index data to improve client experience
    • Manage overall client experience within the hospital by managing client compliments and complaints, as well as various improvement initiatives
    • Manage client journey campaigns by facilitating and coordinating initiatives and campaigns
    • Manage & maintain strategic relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders
    • Manage and control client experience budget
    • Lead, provide guidance and manage the people in the Client Experience Function to deliver on strategic objectives

    REQUIRED EDUCATION

    • To manage the operations in the Centralised Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) and ensure that adequate, functional and sterile medical devices are provided to the operating rooms and other departments in the hospital.
