Job purpose:
Managing the key performance and result indicators associated with Metered Services of the Revenue Management and Customer Care department through the implementation of laid down policies and procedures dictating financial reporting and billing (Metered Services, pre-payment vending and levying of tariffs) requirements, providing input into longer term objective settings and revenue collection planning sequences; and directing and executing accounting procedures and processes associated with managing revenue income.
Qualifications and experience required:
- A B.Com. degree or equivalent.
- Five to seven years’ relevant experience.

Job purpose:
- Co-ordinating and controlling the set-up, work in progress and completion of specialised tasks/activities associated with the installation, maintenance and repair to water reticulation mains, municipal plumbing and meters, including monitoring and correcting the productivity and performance outputs of support personnel, and attending to routine/general administrative recording requirements in order to ensure downtime and disruptions is minimised contributing positively towards sustaining acceptable service delivery standards.

Job purpose:
- Managing and coordinating all functions within one geographical area within the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality with regard to the provision of traffic enforcement, by-law enforcement, crime prevention and ensuring effectiveness and efficiency of service delivery through the implementation of applicable strategies, plans and policies.
Qualifications and experience required:
- All requirements applicable as being appointed as a police member into Regulation 11 of South African Police Amendment Act i.e. Matric or equivalent NQF4 qualification; no criminal conviction, has permanent residence in Republic of South Africa, is proficient in English, and
- A successfully completed prescribed Municipal Police qualification at an accredited Municipal Police Training facility; and
- Is registered as a Traffic Officer in terms of the Road Traffic Act; and
- NQF 6 (three years’ qualification) (i.e. ITO 3 or National Diploma in Municipal Policing or National Diploma in Traffic Safety Management or equivalent policing qualifications).
- Computer literacy – Office applications.
- A valid Code B driver’s licence.
- Up to five years’ relevant supervisory experience in law enforcement, with at least three years on a managerial level.
