    Client Care Inbound Advisor

    Job Description
    Dealing with client queries and complaints on all levels in a competent, efficient and professional way, in accordance with the quality standards that are in place and in accordance with the values of OUTsurance. Required to upsell on existing policies.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum Matric qualification or equivalent qualification
    • FAIS accreditation is essential (RE and Full Qualification) for applicants that have been working in the financial services industry prior to December 2010, preference will be given to applicants with their FAIS Regulatory Exams (RE1) completed. 

    Additional Information
    Required Competencies & Personal Attributes:

    • Extensive Sales and Customer service experience is essential
    • Previous call centre experience - preferably in a client centric or sales environment
    • Previous experience in the insurance industry would be advantageous
    • Responsible to up-sell existing policies 
    • An ideal candidate will be able to align their personal work values to the OUTsurance values of Awesome Service, Dynamic, Honest, Human, Passionate and Recognition.
    • Preferably a candidate with experience in short term insurance.
    • Preferably a candidate that has worked in a role where their salary was based on a commission structure.

    Actuarial Analyst: Personal Lines Pricing

    Job Description
    The successful candidate will form part of the personal lines pricing and product development team. The main responsibility of the candidate will be to build and improve pricing models to achieve set business targets.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Understanding the different data sources and the value of the input data provided
    • Analysing data to be able to provide insights to business problems across company
    • Using statistical models to find appropriate solutions for business problems across company
    • Building pricing models using actuarial pricing techniques which includes data preparation, risk factor identification and applying different modelling techniques including Generalised Linear Models
    • Implementing new pricing models which includes system implementation and documentation of modelling process
    • Monitoring loss ratios and key performance indicators to identify opportunities to improve pricing models and / or product design features
    • Develop and design new products to enhance product offering to clients
    • Presenting results to senior management and other stakeholders

    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Honours Degree in Actuarial Science
    • Successfully completed the Foundation & Intermediate Technical actuarial examinations (A1 & A2)
    • Preferably also completed the Actuarial Risk Management exam (A3)
    • 0-3 years’ experience in actuarial analytics role
    • Ideally have experience in SQL and / or C#
    • Good academic track record
    • Solid interpersonal skills to work effectively alongside a variety of different stakeholders

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Must have a passion for working with numbers and analysing data
    • Enjoy finding unique solutions to problems and implementing these solutions
    • Be able to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
    • Should have a strong affinity towards coding and designing robust solutions
    • Must be a self-starter who can successfully manage a number of different tasks simultaneously
