    Accountant: Management Accounting & Reporting (Re-Advertisement)

    Job Summary:

    • To prepare monthly financial reporting with detailed variance analysis, budgets and forecasts and co-ordinate the external audit processes.

    Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

    •  To prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis.
    •  To co-ordinate and chair the monthly meeting with all Heads of Department (HODs) on departmental expenditure, fixed assets and forecasting.
    •  To ensure consistency in the Company budgeting process through the provision of guidelines and budget calendar, co-ordination of completion of templates, collation of information and consolidation of budget.
    •  To manage the company budget approval process through the Executive Committee (Exco).
    •  To disseminate and distribute the Board approved budget to HODs and upload on ERP system.
    •  To co-ordinate the interim and year-end external audit process.
    •  To co-ordinate the financial year-end processes to ensure deadlines are met.
    •  To co-ordinate company-wide stock counts and report findings.
    •  To ensure compliance to policies, processes, procedures and IFRS.
    • The Preferred Candidate should have:
    •  B Com (Hons) Accounting.
    •  Completed and registered CIMA or CA (SA).
    •  Minimum of 4 to 6 years Manufacturing Financial Accounting experience of which at least 4 years need to be in a management role.

    Knowledge and Skills:

    •  Budgeting and financial management.
    •  IFRS writing and following of internal policies, procedures and processes.
    •  Tax knowledge.
    •  Reporting systems e.g. Insight.
    •  Management and Cost accounting.
    •  Ability to work under pressure.
    •  Communication (verbal and written) skills.

    Executive Assistant - Pretoria (Re-Advertisement)

    Purpose:

    • To provide senior secretarial, administrative and support services to the Managing Director.

    Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

    •  To manage the day-to-day running of the Managing Director's office and provide administrative and secretarial support.
    •  Managing information flow in a timely and accurate manner.
    •  To liaise at a senior level with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Managing Director (MD).
    •  To monitor and manage the daily schedule of the MD.
    •  To prepare and draft reports, memo's, presentations, staff addresses and other correspondence on behalf of the MD.
    •  To collect and collate information from internal and external sources, present the information in a structured format and keep record of all relevant documents.
    •  To update Company dashboard to support the implementation of the continuous improvement standards in the MD's office.
    •  To prepare, plan and organise the MD's travel arrangements and itinerary. To manage the travel functions within the SABN.
    •  To co-ordinate the task activities of all other Personal Assistants (PAs) and provide input into performance evaluations.
    •  To ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
    •  To provide support to the management of projects related to the MD's office.
    •  Act proactively and without much supervision, anticipating needs based on planning and following through.

    The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:

    •  National Diploma in Office Administration or Secretarial
    •  8-10 years’ working experience as a Senior Personal Assistant, with at least 5 years in a supporting role to Executive Management
    •  Experience in managing PA teams or junior staff
    •  Experience in identifying and drafting the annual workplan landscape in line with the company strategy, business plan and major projects
    •  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    •  Discretion and confidentiality
    •  Outstanding organisational and time management skills
    •  Excellent MS Office knowledge

    Area Engineer: Maintenance - Pretoria (Re-Advertisement)

    Job Summary:

    • To provide high level technical support and leadership of a Section within the PEM Department, implement the maintenance strategy, and assume the role of General Machinery Regulations 2(1) or 2(7) appointee.

    Main Responsibilities (not limited to):

    •  Translate into an action plan for the section, in line with organizational strategy.
    •  Conduct reliability centered maintenance (RCM) on equipment to deriver or enhance equipment maintenance strategies.
    •  Lead and manage the technical team including resources allocation for repairs planned maintenance, modification, and lead root cause analysis activities.
    •  Ensure continuous improvement and optimization of the plant and equipment by systematically resolving technical problems by applying root cause analysis techniques and providing solutions thereto.
    •  Manage team performance and sustain high performance standards, set and achieve objectives and goals in accordance with the departmental strategy.
    •  Lead the development of standard operating procedures, work instructions, training manuals and related documentation to sustain team capability and effectively manage engineered assets in area of responsibility.
    •  Minimise equipment downtime by ensuring adherence to the planned maintenance schedule and ensure safe execution of maintenance activities.
    •  Define accurate specifications, initiate projects and take ownership thereof on behalf of the PEM department to ensure success of project work.
    •  To supervise and ensure safe equipment installations and commission to ensure that equipment operates according to requirements after installation or repair.
    •  Manage overall compliance in line with relevant legislation and regulations by developing risk management plans, identifying potential threats or risks, and proactively mitigate.
    •  Monitors cost for the technical Section.

    The Preferred Candidate is likely to have:

    •  BSc Eng or BEng. in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering
    •  GCC certificate (Advantageous)
    •  5 – 8 years’ experience in technologically advanced production equipment

    Knowledge and Skills:

    •  Knowledge of Engineering Principles and Standards
    •  Knowledge of ERP Systems
    •  Leadership Skills
    •  ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards
    •  Report -writing
    •  Written and verbal communication skills
