Moreover:
- Ensure that all legal compliance and safety tasks are carried out on the specific time allocation
- Ensure that all maintenance KPIs meet the required targets set out by TSM manager
- Setup weekly/ yearly maintenance budget based on the tasks that is being carried out and ensure you are in control of the requested budgets
- Ensure maintenance and cleaning day and annual shutdown programs are completed
- Ensure all required asset care work is carried out and complies with asset care standards
- Ensure spares needed to support asset care program are available on time and within costs
- Identify asset care training needs in the Machine Specialist’s as well as in the shift teams and make recommendations
- Analyse SAP maintenance system to identify recurring problems and make recommendations to enhance the asset care schedules
- Co-ordinates resource allocation of process artisans and machine specialist on maintenance and cleaning day and annual shutdown
- Participate as a subject matter expert in asset care problem solving sessions
Minimum Requirements:
- N6 / Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or equivalent
- Trade Tested Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation
- 3 - 5 years production Engineering experience
- Worked as machine specialist in FMCG for at least 2 years (Advantageous)
- Solid SAP experience
- Computer literate (Proficiency in Microsoft Office package)
- Understanding of Maintenance Processes and Practices
- In depth knowledge of Packaging plant equipment and processes
- Assertive leadership, good people management
- Strong diagnostic ability

Key Roles and Responsibilities
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING
- Using the maintenance planning system, generate the routine maintenance.
- Schedules, this should include required cleaning, lubrication and Inspection tasks.
- Allocate resources to the schedules and generate works orders where these are indicated.
- Communicate the schedules to the production, engineering and other support teams and resolve work and resource allocation problems.
- Verify that routine maintenance schedules are being completed and that shift teams are completing autonomous maintenance tasks assigned to them.
- Complete all administration and maintenance systems tasks required supporting the management of routine maintenance schedules.
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of routine maintenance tasks to the shift and engineering teams, and highlight non-compliance and problems that need to be addressed.
MAINTENANCE SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT
- Where necessary, take part in the commissioning of new maintenance systems, or changes to the current maintenance system
- Manage the maintenance systems, ensuring operational and data integrity and correct use of the system.
- Plan required maintenance work using the maintenance system, generating the required schedules and associated works orders.
- Generate required maintenance reports, including SAP reports and communicate to key stakeholders.
- Capture required data on the maintenance systems. Data must be verified for accuracy and completeness.
- Conduct analysis on maintenance data to identify failure modes and root causes of maintenance problems, and to identify problems timeously.
- Where analysis of maintenance data indicates a need to carry out work, this information must be communicated to the engineering team and included in the planned maintenance schedules.
MAINTENANCE PLANNING
- Facilitate and lead the planned maintenance pre-meeting. Work required, problems to be addressed and resource requirements must be discussed.
- Plan all required work on the planned maintenance schedule. Ad hoc tasks should be included and prioritised and relevant works requests generated.
- Determine resource requirements to complete work and assign tasks to specific resources. Interaction with departmental heads to obtain resources may be required.
- Partake in planned maintenance period in support of maintenance team and assist with problem solving, work prioritisation and resource re-allocation.
- Reschedule incomplete work to the next planned maintenance period and capture all required information from planned maintenance period on the maintenance systems.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Actively drives Quality and Food Safety awareness on site
- Support the implementation and maintenance of the brewery’s Quality Management System.
- Coordinate periodic document reviews with process owners.
- Maintain Food Safety documentation including; HACCP plans, PRP procedures, Food Defence and TACCP documentation
- Support non-conformance management and ensure loop closure
- Assist in the planning, development and implementation of the Quality Pillar for Site
- Align documentation objectives to Ab-Inbev standards
- Site champion for all document and record keeping by ensuring PDM is managed as per the Acadia system
- Ensure all documentation including work practice documentation is current and reflective of the process
- Motivate key personnel to take accountability for Document management within their area of responsibility
- Develop and maintain procedures, SOP’s, standard operating practices and site-specific policies for Document Control
- Conduct Quality and Food Safety Trainings across site as required.
- Plan and manage internal and external audits documentation
- Archive obsolete records in accordance with document retention schedules
- Coordinate Management of Change (MOC) documentation (ensure document updates following process, equipment, or specification changes)
- Owner of TNA for quality management system competence
Key Attributes and Competencies:
- Sound knowledge and experience of the food safety system and standards
- Keen interest in data manipulation
- Good all round knowledge of AB-Inbev manufacturing processes and philosophies
- Proven knowledge and experience in integrating and facilitating a multi- disciplinary group of skills, specialists and functions
- Previous auditing experience would be advantageous
- Good verbal and written communication skills

Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary Qualification in Sciences (or equivalent), 3 year related tertiary qualification is the minimum requirement
- 3-5 years in a quality assurance discipline with solid understanding of systems and knowledge of the Brewery processes
